More Candidates to Jump In the AG Race?
by 6p014e897b6287970d, 04:24 PM, 1 Comments
Amidst news today that John Laddenburg will not be running for Attorney General, two names have surfaced as possible dark horses. It is rumored that Snohomish Prosecutor Mark Roe and former State Senator Randy Gordon are considering tossing their names into the hat. Roe worked for 22 years as a Snohomish County deputy prosecutor before being elected to his current position. Gordon represented the city of Bellevue and currently owns his own law firm there. He is also an Adjunct... [read more]

The Most Dangerous Radiation Of All!!!!
by JeffB., 10:35 AM, 0 Comments
Forget about a few hundred microSieverts of radiation you might receive if you were onsite at the Fukushima Daiichi plants in Japan. That's less radiation than you would receive if you had to get a CAT Scan. The real danger is exposure to the Thousands of SieBSverts of collectivism, panic, cowardice and hysteria that the average American receives each year from television news organizations. This horrific radiation causes groupthink, self-doubt and depression. Saps motivation, encourages rage and infighting, and causes... [read more]

Any Muslim who can explain this.............Please?
by chekflow, 08:33 PM, 6 Comments
I'm confused. I heard today about this. So she has apparently gone deep underground. That being said, how you explain this as a Muslim? Was it because it was thought that Molly Norris was trying to be inflammatory? What if she was just trying to prove that we are 'tolerant".? To any Muslim who reads this: What are your thoughts on this issue? Do the depictions in the art shown in the link offend you as much as Ms. Norris's... [read more]

Q&A with Koster
by tpahl, 10:16 AM, 0 Comments
In the first comment of Pudges latest post about his friend John Koster, he states, "we will have an interview with John Koster and Rick Larsen on Sound Politics soon: and YOU all get to ask the questions." I wonder if everyone will be allowed to ask questions or if all the people that have been banned from commenting on Pudges posts will also be banned from this Q&A session. I was banned after asking Pudge questions regarding Kosters 16... [read more]

Restaurant Unlimted Turns Blind Eye to Public Health
by 6p0133f350d464970b, 10:41 AM, 6 Comments
It has been, in recent years, determined that mental health and well being is closely enough tied with physical health and well being, that most insurance carriers now no longer put limitations on patients for how many visits they might have per year with a counselor, and even the benefits are now often paid at the same percentage as treatment for any other medical condition would be. That in mind, is mental or emotional damage or suffering inflicted upon a... [read more]

Rather than point to examples of government departments or agencies he has elliminated in his 16 years of service, rather than point out government departments or agencies he has tried to elliminate in his 16 years of service, rather than provide suggestions of government services or agencies he would elliminate if elected, Pudges candidate for congress instead decided to talk about his opponent. Is Koster a conservative?
by tpahl, 04:11 PM, 12 Comments
I am looking for evidence that Koster is a true conservative that seeks to limit government. He has been in office for 16 years so if he is as conservative as his supporters claim he is, it should not be hard to find evidence. I want to see examples of when he has cut a government program or department or at least made a serious attempt at cutting one. I was not able to find any evidence that he ever... [read more]

The Mill Creek City Council recently voted to put a six-year EMS levy on the August 17 ballot, which levy will result in an increase in the tax the rate from $.18 to $.45 per $1,000 of assessed valuation. This represents a 150% tax increase. In dollars, the increase will exceed $5,000,000 or an average of $850,000 per year over the six year term of the Levy. Snohomish County Judge race
by 6p0120a627718c970b, 09:04 PM, 25 Comments
There is a wild and crazy judicial race in Snohomish County. Five (count 'em, 5) candidates are in a free for all for one vacant seat. No primary, no run off. At a recent forum all the candidates forgot about us, the public, in a forum in Stanwood. The candidates argued about issues that nobody cared about. The forum was punctuated with snickers after all the candidates attacked Tessandore for stating that Snohomish County voters trust lawyers and judges, and... [read more]

Snohomish County's Transportation Scandal

It was declared 'dead on arrival' by controlling Democrats at the end of this session.
