Bellevue parents weigh in on teacher contract talks
Looks like the Bellevue Schools PTA isn't waiting for Olympia politicians to make big changes in the way teacher layoffs are determined. Negotiations for a new teacher contract are going on right now at BSD, and the PTA Council (which represents school-level PTAs to the school board) has put out a statement asking the school board and the teachers' unions to consider, among other things, using teacher performance in staffing decisions.
