60% increase in City share for public employee pension

What recession? Public employees here apparently getting boost taxpayer-funded benefits. Today I found the following information on the City of Shoreline web page regarding the Public Employee Benefit System contributions (PERS). In all cases the Employer (read taxpayer) contribution raises 60 percent!! (from 5.31% to 8.48%).
