So, with the appointment of Elena Kagan to the SCOTUS, we see that once again, Obama is continuing the policies of Bush.
Why was the left so against Bush, when they have got a new President who has kept so many Bush policies in place? Are we out of Iraq yet? Or Afghanistan? How about wiretapping of foreigners?
And now, we have Obama's Harriet Miers appointment. Like Miers, Kagan has very little judicial experience. I was personally outraged when Bush made such a foolish and undeserving appointment. And so I am just as outraged at his appointment of Kagan.
I fully expect Obama to appoint a left leaning judge. And probably someone with a "living constitution" interpretation with which I vehemently disagree. That is his prerogative as President. But I do not expect Obama to appoint someone with virtually no case law experience and no judicial experience.
This is an outrageous discord to the SCOTUS. Regardless of party, the Supreme Court has always been made up of brilliant judges. Far more brilliant and judicial than Elena Kagan.
But, since the Media leans so far left, I expect that unlike with George Bush and his Harriet Miers appointment, this will largely go unnoticed.

She's a liberal crony, a reliable vote for the left wing of the court and that's all Obama cares about.
