Hey look! A scandal
by Palouse123, 10:34 AM, 12 Comments
It's in plain sight, but since it involves the Obama administration, there's little mainstream media curiosity. Joe Sestak was offered something, most likely a job, in return for dropping out of the Pennsylvania senate race. Sestak has admitted this fact. This is of course, illegal. "I was offered a job, and I answered that," Sestak said. "Anything that goes beyond that is for others to talk about." Some think, based on this interview, that the job was Secretary of the... Those who still oppose the reform say that people ought to pay for their own health care. We all believe in the virtues of hard work... [read more]

Obama Apes Bush.
by JeffB., 04:55 PM, 2 Comments
So, with the appointment of Elena Kagan to the SCOTUS, we see that once again, Obama is continuing the policies of Bush. Why was the left so against Bush, when they have got a new President who has kept so many Bush policies in place? Are we out of Iraq yet? Or Afghanistan? How about wiretapping of foreigners? And now, we have Obama's Harriet Miers appointment. Like Miers, Kagan has very little judicial experience. I was personally outraged when Bush... [read more]

NYC: SO IT *WAS* A TEABAGGER...
by JeffB., 10:27 AM, 35 Comments
The left has this narrative that conservatives who object to the current fiscal insanity of our Democrat controlled Congress are responsible for dangerous rhetoric and resulting violence. They say it is the "Teabaggers" who are going to go "McVeigh" on the USA. And so it was on Saturday night. A fundamentalist, far right wing, American nutcase tried to blow up Times Square in NYC. What could be more fundamentalist than the Taliban? What could be further right than a religion... [read more]
