This is how we are treated!

I have been reading this blog since it was created, and I am an avid follower of local, state, national and International politics. I am a native Seattleite and small business owner and I have never worked in a paid or voluntary capacity for any political party. Over the years I have watched the deterioration that has taken place in the political arena with a heavy heart.

Following is an email exchange that took place between myself and a representative named Susan Sheary of the Washington State Democrat Party yesterday.

I might have been a bit harsh and scolding, but the flyers I'm referring to in my emails were atrocious and insulting to decent people of every political persuasion imo. In these instances democrats are stealing another human being's persona, her individual character, the being she owns which is hers alone. They have constructed a monster, attached it to perceived non PC positions and have built a whole new person from the old........as if they had the power to change and make images and mold opponents to fit their narrative.

Five emails were produced all together.

To whom it may concern,

Today we received a flyer in the mail regarding the upcoming election and candidate Susan Hutchison.

First, we want to ask you to take us off of your mailing list. Never in our 40 + years of voting have we seen a more vile, disgusting and disturbing piece of advertisement as the one you sent to our house today. This kind of negative and over the top campaigning does not help your cause, it hurts it badly. If this is the type of horrible advertising you must resort to.........with an abominable depiction of Susan Hutchison on the front and assertions on the back of the flyer that are false and misleading.........your party is in desperate straights. If all you can do to garner votes is to disparage and vilify people hoping you will appeal to the base evil side of people you are sadly mistaken

Secondly, we wouldn't dream of voting for any candidate in a party with such a lack of morals and ethics.

What that flyer did will be felt at the voting booth............unless democrats manage to steal the vote again as they have in so many other elections.

Even the left leaning Seattle Times endorses Susan Hutchison. We voters are truly ready for a change.........and that doesn't mean electing the in the pocket good old boy Dow Constantine.

We reiterate................please take us permanently off of your mailing list. We do not wish our children to be influenced by such depraved and atrocious people as you.

This flyer was not prepared or published by the King County Democrats; please read the "Paid for..." statement on the flyer. I have not seen the flyer.

The King County Democrats have put out no flyers.

This is who paid for the ad...........

Washington State Democratic Central Committee.

I don't know who that is, and if I were you I would not want to be associated with them.

Do you know who they are and do you have a phone # or web site of this group?

There is absolutely no doubt in our minds the Washington State Democrat Party is affiliated with the Washington State Central Committee. It seem apparent that it is a "committee" of the Washington State Democrat Party. If you could be a little more concise regarding your 1st email to us we'd appreciate it.

That is our State Party and I am very proud to be a part of the committee.
Susan Hutchison is an incompetent liar at best -- she is ill-equipped to run for the highest office in King County. I totally disagree with you and do not write to me again.

2. Question to OP: If the flyer said it was produced by the Washington State Democratic Central Committee, why did you write to the Susan Sheary King County Democrats? You site that she works for WSDCC, but she works for the KCD.

You need to fire at the right target.

3. OP: You aimed at the King County Democrats instead of who produced the flier. This didn't have to be so frustrating for you IF you had contacted the right entity.
