Right now, it's illegal to use any government asset or facility in favor of, or opposition to, any ballot measure, referendum or initiative.
If this ethical violation becomes law... expect massive amounts of YOUR tax dollars to be used to shove massive tax increases down your throat.

My definition of "massive" might have a higher threshold than Hinton's - since this measure refers to newsletters, letters, press releases, and public meetings. Are though costing "massive" amounts now?

If the Republicans controlled the leg and came out with, for example, a "no" campaign rule that would have allowed them, say, for example, to oppose 728 or 732... or the gas tax increase they ripped us off with, the leftists would have been bitching like cut cats.
