GOVERNMENT MURDER AND EUTHANASIA!
by LeCerveau, 07:03 AM, 9 Comments
Ever wonder what happens to all those dogs and cats that the so-called 'animal shelters' pick up and haul away PAID for by taxpayers? If you ask around Western Washington NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING about what is going on in those animal shelters, just like in Germany at the end of World War Two. In many parts of the country they are operated by PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) or ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of... [read more]

Spokane Falls Community College Claims Pro-life Speech Against Washington Law; McKenna's Office to Defend College
by 6p01053614339a970b, 11:35 PM, 5 Comments
Not to be believed, but yes, SFCC "threatened Beth Sheeran and members of a Christian student group with disciplinary measures, including expulsion, if they chose to hold a pro-life event on campus to share information with other students because the message was 'discriminatory' and did not include a pro-abortion viewpoint." They were also told it was against Washington law. Read the whole story from the ADF who is representing the students in their law suit against SFCC. Here's the offending... [read more]

McMorris Rogers and House Leadership blows it - When the GOP is stupid: No numbers in their budget?
by Hinton, 11:41 AM, 1 Comments
Some around here have evidenced the bizarre idea that Cathy McMorris Rogers (Or is it Rogers McMorris? I always get that mixed up) represents the Second Coming of an Elective Jesus. That is not the case. And last week's debacle over the budget tends to prove that. Give this a read for the details. Not for the faint of heart, or for those remotely hoping that the GOP will be anything but a minor footnote in the history of our... [read more]

Who wears the pants in the family?
by HairyBuddah, 10:22 PM, 11 Comments
From none other than The New York Times. When President Obama and Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. meet for their standing Friday lunch engagement, Mr. Obama always picks the cuisine -- a subtle break from previous administrations in which the president and the vice president typically ordered off a menu, and a reminder, if any was needed, about who is in charge. "The dietary bar is set by the president," said Ron Klain, Mr. Biden's chief of staff. It... [read more]

Murder of Asian Robert Wone by 3 g** guys
by 6p01156f6eab72970b, 12:05 PM, 0 Comments
tp://hu1st.blogspot.com/2009/03/robert-wone-case-and-real-cowards.html Here's a story that's even too hot for conservatives to handle, but maybe you folks can figure out "whodunit". Monday, March 02, 2009 The Robert Wone Case and the Real Cowards It's ironic that Attorney General Eric Holder called Americans cowards for being reluctant to talk about race. Holder was the attorney for the widow of the late Robert Wone, yet even he declined to name any possible suspects in the murderer case. In contrast to the high profile... [read more]

For the gas tax supporters: Washington State Democrats CONTINUE to rip us off on the gas tax theft: 31 more projects face the axe.
by Hinton, 10:32 AM, 0 Comments
About 60 seconds after the gas tax package passed, WADOT whacked 30% or so of the project less, having known in advance that dozens of the promised projects would not be built. They lied to us... and they knew it. In advance. They knew when we took the vote that many of these projects would disappear, and that the much more gullible among us and their useful idiots, the newspapers, would actually support this extortion. Here's the rest of the... [read more]

Democrats in Oly pushing new law to use state facilities to campaign for massive tax increase on the ballot.
by Hinton, 04:49 PM, 2 Comments
Right now, it's illegal to use any government asset or facility in favor of, or opposition to, any ballot measure, referendum or initiative. If this ethical violation becomes law... expect massive amounts of YOUR tax dollars to be used to shove massive tax increases down your throat. Thanks to Joe Turner at TNT for spilling the beans.... Water Rate "Refund"
by 6p01156f3d6e9a970b, 09:00 AM, 2 Comments
I just opened an envelope from the City of Seattle and find a letter entitled "Important Information Regarding your Utility Bill." I read it and discover that the Washington Supreme Court has ruled that the City, for decades, illegally charged water customers for the cost of fire hydrants and related piping. According to the Court, providing fire hydrants is a governmental function that should be financed through general tax revenues. It cannot legally be financed through a surcharge to... [read more]

Disgust with Reichert
by SCarnahan, 12:35 AM, 5 Comments
I had applauded Representative Reichert's no vote on the Stimulus bill and his calls for responsibility. Today however he has lost my respect, possibly my vote in the future. Voting for a Bill of Attainder is an anathema to anyone that believes in the Constitution of the United States of America. Congressman Reichert has demonstrated that he doesn't care about the law. He has violated his oath of office. The AIG bonuses were offensive, but nothing compared to what Congressman... [read more]

Why did McMorris Rogers and Reichert vote to violate the Constitution today?
by Hinton, 11:36 PM, 4 Comments
Of our 3 Republican members of Congress, Only Doc Hastings voted to uphold the Constitution of the United States today. Why is that? There was a legal lynching in the House today... a scummy vote where Article I, section 9, clause 3; No bill of attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed. was tossed out the window... and ALL of our Congressional delegation, except for Doc, failed in their DUTY to protect the Constitution. This bill has zero... [read more]

VOTE TODAY FOR KC CONSERVATION DISTRICT POSITION (UPDATED)
by MicheleDeRouis, 11:00 AM, 6 Comments
Be sure to vote in a little-known but significant King County election today. According to sources, Preston Drew is the preferred candidate running for a seat on the five-member Board of Supervisors overseeing what is known as the King Conservation District. The democrats are trying to conduct a write-in campaign to elect a far-left radical (Mark Sollitto) who filed for the position but due to a so-called 'technical error' did not make the ballot. Help keep control of this King... [read more]

TOM BROKAW THE CROOK?
by 6p010536f1146a970b, 11:34 PM, 0 Comments
It is now all over the internet that the aging, old news reader from one of the obsolete TV networks may have been paid off by several environmental groups to host a Global Warming disaster special on the Discovery Channel that aired the night of 3/18. It is also being suggested that the old timer may also be a MAJOR investor in the Al Gore 2.2 Billion dollar cap and trade swindle. Here is a summary of the remarks I... [read more]

Congrats Gil Kerlikowske on your career move into the Obama admin. Obama Administration to Charge Wounded Veterans for Their Care?
by HairyBuddah, 09:32 PM, 1 Comments
This is from the American Legion. I consider them to be a pretty reliable source. Apparently the VA is going to be directed to send the bill for battle wounds to the private insurance companies covering vets with private insurance. You know, National Guards and Reservists who work outside of the military. This means that small business owner vets could find it very difficult to get health insurance, and private employers could be less likely to hire them. As little... [read more]

Conservative Divorce Agreement
by John425, 09:27 AM, 8 Comments
Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al: We have stuck together since the late 1950's, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has run its course. Gathering scandal? Michelle's designer dresses?
by 6p01053690976c970c, 04:25 PM, 20 Comments
We all remember the major scandal surrounding the spending on clothing by the RNC for Sarah Palin during the '08 campaign. It is one of those numbers one doesn't have to look up: $150,000 spent on upscale clothes for the beautiful Mrs. Palin. The number was mentioned so many times in press reports that it is branded into my brain. It was not just on the (now-regular) political coverage on Inside Edition--it was a page A-1 story in the New... [read more]

Keeping with the cool new PROVOCATION OF THE DAY
by RagnarDanneskold, 12:27 PM, 6 Comments
I've decided I can no longer call the toddler president bambi. Granted he was and in many ways is a doe-eyed neophyte caught in the headlights of an on-coming world, but the name and the original Bambi also brings thoughts of sweet innocence. Nope, that ain't gonna work anymore! So, I need help with a new moniker. I pretty much think it needs to immediately bring to mind an inept cartoon cartoon character. The first that sprang to my mind... [read more]

Create a Crisis
by HairyBuddah, 07:05 PM, 4 Comments
For decades one of my favorite rhetorical questions has been "What's the first rule for expanding a bureaucracy?" The answer is "Create a crisis." My friends, family and colleagues are probably sick to death of me using this line. So it was with a certain amount of vindication that I heard Rahm Emanuel (Barack Obama's Chief of Staff) and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (still having trouble getting my mind around that one) freely acknowledge that the Democrats wanted to... Obama Cites Re-Hiring of 25 Police Recruits as Proof the Stimulus is Working
by TrueSoldier, 02:38 AM, 2 Comments
I saw this and nearly laughed out loud. Fox News.com has a story posted about stagnant or lower wages to be expected (no surprise there) that had this little tid bit in it: While aknowledging an "astounding" number of job losses in February, President Obama told critics of his $787 billion economic recovery plan Friday that it is saving jobs and said, "I know we did the right thing." He suggested that critics talk to 25 police recruits in Ohio's... [read more]

Washington State Democrats Block Stronger Sex Offender Laws
by LewWaters, 11:59 PM, 6 Comments
Shortly after the murder of 13 year-old Alicia Nipp in Hazel Dell, Washington State Senator Don Benton tried once again to get stronger sentencing for sex predators in Washington State. Benton said, "Clark County is up in arms about this. All of us representing Clark County are receiving e-mails asking what can be done. It is just horrific." "Ladies and gentlemen I ask you to join me today to send a strong message to these heinous criminals, these horrific predators... [read more]

The Fight for America's Economic Soul
by TrueSoldier, 08:29 PM, 0 Comments
I received this email from the Freedom Foundation. It is pretty good and has some good links with information and an entrepreneurial contest: In her classic novel Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Rand describes a battle for the soul of the U.S. economy. The nation's "producers" work hard, innovate, and create prosperity, while the "looters" and "moochers" live off of the work of others. Sound familiar? Atlas Shrugged was written over 50 years ago, but the battle at the heart of that... [read more]

New Proposed Taxes! Olympia gets creative with ways to steal our money
by 6p010536f8b55f970c, 03:28 PM, 2 Comments
(From News Tribune) "This is a list of options for raising revenues that have been commonly requested. The Department (of Revenue) does not advocate these options; we consider them to be administrable." I'm using numbers from the July 2008, which may overstate amounts since we really went into the tank afterward. The chart shows how much money would be raised from each of the taxes in the 2009-11 biennium, as well as for each single fiscal year in the biennium.... [read more]

Another Congressional Plan That Will Help Kill The Economy
by TrueSoldier, 09:31 PM, 0 Comments
I was listening to AFN radio yesterday when they annoucned that Congress plans on trying to give more authority to the FDA to regulate Tobacco. the idea is that by regulating tobacco the FDA would be able to eliminate harmful products that people use ona day to day basis. I see a multitude of problems that will stem from this kind of legislation other than the obvious "nanny state" mentality it brings. The propsed plan would include a ban on... [read more]

Baghdad Night's
by TrueSoldier, 09:29 PM, 1 Comments
As many of you know, I am back in Iraq. I got back on Friday and a couple of days latter I saw an article in the Stars and Stripes entitled "Baghdad Nights". It appears that the security situation has improved so much around the international zone (green zone) that night clubs are starting to open. What is more amazing is that soldiers are heading of base to go to them. Here is some of the excerpts of the story:... [read more]
