Shawna Forde gave an exclusive interview on NoCompromise Radio on January 6th, 2009, recounting the brutal attacks she and her estranged husband recently endured at their home in Everett, WA.
<Click Here> to hear her recount exactly what went down, when three or four unknown assailants shot her husband multiple times, and then merely a week later, audaciously returned to beat and rape her while he remains hospitalized.
Please leave your insightful comments as to what you think actually may have happened in this case. Did Shawna clear things up for you - or, do you have more questions?

I don't think there is any doubt Shawna was attacked and brutalized (contrary to the webosphere). It was difficult listening to her talk as she was still in shock and appeared to be having an out-of-body experience as she was speaking. She is an awful strong person to even come on the show for the interview.
I can't understand why the police or her friends in the Minutemen even let her go on the air. She needed time to work things out and having Tracy conduct a tortuous interview wasn't in Shawna's best interest.
Comments by the interviewer and the callers were sometimes inappropriate regarding how they would act in the same situation when they weren't in the same situation at all. It is one thing to think how you would react but another when it does happen.
As for the reason for the attacks, Shawna wasn't able to shed anymore light on it. Saying it might retribution or a message from drug dealers is still speculation.
When I listened to Shawna and I listened to the questions and opinons of others, I couldn't help but think of the woman who was raped by Kobe Bryant. Dazed and confused she had more erratic behaviors than Shawna and we know how she was trashed by the media. Again, everyone had ideas on what they would do in the same situation, except they never had such an experience.
Tracy mentioned some items she would check on regarding the police response or the lack of response. I was listening to see if Tracy believed Shawna or not since Tracy claimed some experience interviewing rape victims. It seemed unequivocal that she did.
BTW, I have subscribed to the podcast now and awaiting further topics.
