Every once in a while, I think, I shouldn't always be the critic of Democrats. I should "reach out" across the aisle and find common ground. But then, I read about something so stupid or hypocritical or wasteful or 180 degrees opposite of common sense, that I run screaming back into right field.

I thought that being middle of the road would be okay for 4 (or 8...or 12...yikes) years, but I think my brain would explode and I'd be biting my tongue so often it would fall off.

So, perhaps I'll just be a curmudgeon, taking the obvious potshots, until my party can concoct something palatable enough to retake the Government...until then, I'll be hiding in my garbage can, making grouchy noises.
