Bye Bye Dodd! Hello Schiff!!!
Peter Schiff might be running for Senate in 2010!!!
If he does this will probably be the highest profile campaign the republicans put up. But it will also be one of the biggest victories for the free market as well.
1. Peter Schiff is from the Austrian school of economics. He has not been shy about presenting his economic views (free market capitalism, return to gold standard, end the Fed).
2. Dodd is dud who has watched our financial system collapse.
3. Schiff is on record predicting the exact collapse we have seen.
4. Schiff will have the enthusiasm and money from nearly all Ron Paul supporters. This is a huge chunk of change for a senate race.
5. Dodds mortgage fraud investigation is only going to get worse.
6. Dodds approval rating is below 50% in his liberal home state.

1. He'd be a welcome addition to the Senate IMO!
Any voice who will speak out against government bailouts is a good voice to have on Capitol Hill!
2. I can't figure out why Dodd is still there, when HE was in charge of the senate banking committee a full two years before things started collapsing. It's like he feels no responsibility for anything at all. simply amazing.
And democrats are in denial that DC dems blocked reforms at Fannie et al that Rs were warning about four years ago!
3. I assume you are talking about Connecticut?
4. Yes we are talking about CT here.
5. Didn't Chris Dodd make infamy for the "waitress sandwich" he and Senator Kennedy would make (when lit up like Senatorial Christmas trees) of unsuspecting waitresses at various DC watering holes?
6. I do not know about waitress sandwiches. I know of him for sitting on the banking committee for years and years doing nothing to prevent what Schiff and others had been warning about.
