Another bad economic stimulus proposal
by RodVanMechelen, 04:11 PM, 5 Comments
I have an idea to stimulate the economy that falls into the "democracy is the worst form of government except for all the rest" category. It's utterly unfair and goes against all of my principles but for its two redeeming virtues: (1) it will work, and (2) it will cost a lot less than the plans currently in development. Others have probably thought of this, too, though I haven't heard of it. I thought of it when I happened to... [read more]
Letter to Huff - You Sent a Ballot to a Dead Man!
by ruthgibbs, 03:32 AM, 5 Comments
I delivered this scathing letter and the letter from the widow and from the cemetary and the ballot for the dead man who died in 1993. I demanded he be removed. I told them I wanted to keep the ballot unopened for evidence. It must have scared them. They called me 10 minutes later saying he had been removed! MEDIA BIAS: IT'S EVEN WORSE THAN YOU THOUGHT. WAY WORSE.
by MicheleDeRouis, 02:09 AM, 1 Comments
If you had any remaining doubts about whether today's 'big' media are fair-minded in their reporting, you can erase all doubt with this piece of news: while journalists have been fawning and slobbering all over Barack Hussein Obama during his campaign and subsequent installation as POTUS, now comes word that ex-Clintonite George Stephanopoulos holds daily strategy & message-crafting meetings with Obama's Chief of staff & fellow ex-Clintonite Rahm Emanuel. This has apparently been going on during the campaign, as well,... [read more]

Spokane County GOP Chair is organizing a bus to Olympia to fight eco-terrorist bill!
by 6p010536f8b55f970c, 03:42 PM, 2 Comments
It appears that Matt Shea's alert regarding HB 1718 struck such a nerve with the party in Spokane, that Cindy Zapotocky, Spokane County Republican Party Chair is organizing either a bus or a carpool to bring local party members and other citizens to come down and speak against this thing. Jim Robinson, Matt Shea's legislative assistant, purportedly stated that some left-wing environmentalist groups have been prepared for this and are organizing there members to go to the hearing tomorrow at... To read the entire transcript, go to http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_012309/content/01125113.guest.html I think what's coming is going to be a concerted effort by the Obama administration to separate our elected officials from us on the Republican side. Colin Powell is working on that. Colin Powell is already out there saying Republicans should ignore Limbaugh, meaning conservatives, plus me. Change You Can Believe In

Remember all the liberals screaming about how your Constitutional rights were being trampled by Bush's warrantless wiretapping? Well, the Obama administration just sided with Bush on the program. The Obama administration fell in line with the Bush administration Thursday when it urged a federal judge to set aside a ruling in a closely watched spy case weighing whether a U.S. president may bypass Congress and establish a program of eavesdropping on Americans without warrants. In the Wake of the Inauguration: A Layman's Response to the President's Speech
by thesenator2012, 01:28 PM, 4 Comments
[The transcript of President Obama's Inaugural Address comes by way of The Drudge Report.] On its face, the President's speech on the Capitol steps this morning was a fair effort that could not possibly live up to the expectations set by Beltway pundits and the hunting hounds of the national press corps. Much of the text (said to have been written by the President himself) was predictable, but it was anything but safe. By applying a rough chop to the... [read more]

Today is just another day. We don't live in a nation where pomp and ceremony are paramount. We live in a nation that is ruled by laws and reveres the sanctity of the individual. Barack Obama is no more important or noteworthy than any other president or individual in this nation. Is Flag Desecration by Obama Supporters Another Sign of the President-elect's 'Man-Crush' on Lincoln?
by thesenator2012, 07:55 AM, 0 Comments
As Michelle Malkin has been reporting on her site for days now, President-elect Obama's supporters have been engaging in widespread acts of unlawfulness in the form of distributing and displaying United States flags that have been defaced with images of the President-elect. What is eerie is that even as Obama concludes the pilgrimage to D.C., draped in the mantle of Abraham Lincoln's legacy, these flags could just be one more example of Obama's lack of originality. Abraham Lincoln's 1860 presidential... [read more]

Washington State Government spending is out of control. But that is nothing new for a government that's been dominated by Democrats for decades. Viaduct Plans Perpetuate Wasteful Attitude of State and Local Officials
