Is it BizCzar or is it Bisarre?

Is it strange that now we have elected the most liberal President in the history of the republic of the United States, we are now talking about heads of Departments as Czars?

In my 30 year old recollection of the Russian language, Tsar and Czar are spelled and pronounced the same. The alphabetic symbol is never shown in English and therefore we have the Ts and Cz prefixes.

And wasn't it the Czars that led to the Bolshevik revolutions and the beginnings of Communism? Just a food for thought.

Today, we are talking about Energy Czars, Auto Czars, and several other heads of departments.

Makes me go hummmm, anyways.

1. Then there was Mike Fratello, the 'czar of the telestrator.'

Seriously, the expansion of state power just in my lifetime is amazing. I expect that before I die we'll have fully socialized health care and transportation. We inevitably are headed for 50-60% taxation and the smothering state that Canada and Western Europe already have.

2. Hey, Ted have you seen your friend Mike Lowry lately?

If anything, this election should show the need to get rid of SCUM like you Ted from the GOP.

Wish Sid Happy Holidays for me. Of Course Happy Holidays for Political Correctness is Paramount, Right Ted?

3. Got your e-mail, tom from tom in federal way.. Man, are you ever mistaken and apologies accepted.

Are you referring to the former governor, Lowry? Don't know the guy. Don't worry, though, as I am not in the GOP- can't stand party apparati and the endless meetings.

And, I don't do Happy Holidays. I do Merry Xmas and Merry Xmas to you, too.

But what do you think about the clever use of the czar reference and the old Russkies with respect to the new powers in Washington, D.C.?

Last, I know several Sids, but I haven't talked to one in over 20 years.

4. Please we haven't forgotten the name Trepanier Around here!

I could sooner forget the name Benedict Arnold or Judus Iscarott.

5. You don't exchange Christmas Cards with Sid anymore?

That's gratitude for you.

But then again what should one backstabber expect from another.
