Geoff Simpson's Dirty Politics (Part IV)

This is part four of a series, which will continue until Election Day, documenting all the lies and smears Geoff Simpson is selling the 47th district voters in a desperate attempt not to lose his job. You can read parts one, two, and three.

One of the most traditional aspects of local campaigns is putting up yard signs.

One of the most traditional aspects of Geoff Simpson's campaigns is taking down his opponents' yard signs.

Simpson has a well documented past regarding this issue. Two years ago, Joel Higa, an Olympia High School graduate and then-UPS student, was caught stealing yard signs belonging to Donna Watts, Simpson's 2006 opponent.

This evening, another of Simpson's cohorts was spotted stealing signs of Simpson's current opponent, Mark Hargrove. The individual taking the Hargrove signs was about 5-10, thin build, approximately 40 years of age, and drove a late '80s maroon Subaru, with the license plate number 057-UNP.

He stole a Hargrove sign located near the northwest corner of 164th Ave SE and Kent-Kangley Rd, across the street from the Covington Library. He then proceeded to drive to the Simpson campaign office, located at 16624 SE 254th Pl in Covington (hilariously, the houses on either side of Simpson's campaign office sport Mark Hargrove signs in their front yards).

In typical Geoff Simpson fashion, he is trying to win this race by doing whatever it takes. And if it means having a member of his campaign staff, someone important enough to own a key to the campaign office, then Simpson is okay with that.
