You know you're in trouble when they start laughing at you and this turned out to be the case last week when word leaked out that the Bush Administration is literally LAUGHING at Woodward's new book "The War Within". Woodward's so called facts in the book are even contrary to the PUBLIC RECORD. Maybe this guy has gone senile? Maybe he has Alzheimer's? Some of what he wrote has wrong dates and times. Very poor editing makes the book a real LAUGHER for insiders in the Bush Administration and a major embarrassment for young Washington Post Reporters who WERE THE FIRST TO NOTICE THE FALSE ENTRIES IN THE BOOK!
Woodward prevailed on his friends at CBS's 60 minutes to let him come on and try to rescue some sort of creditability, but it just didn't come off as a good interview!
Woodward has a history of this sort of stuff going back to when he tried to do an expose' on the Reagan Administration with claims he interviewed former CIA Chief Bill Casey after the man was operated on for brain cancer and the speech centers of his brain WERE REMOVED. Now most of the stuff in his new expose' of the Bush Administration is nothing but PURE FICTION; insiders are telling LeCerveau! This is particularly embarrassing for Woodward because last week it was ALSO being revealed that A LARGE PORTION OF HIS WATERGATE BOOK "All the President's Men" was packed full of bad information, wrong dates and etc. This man has to be a real Crackpot, like the rest of the morons who work for the Washington Post.
