So, Edwards was cheating on his cancer-fighting wife...

Are our fringe leftists going to go after him the way they've gone after those amoral enough on the right to do the same thing?

Nah. The requirement to be a hypocrite in order o qualify as a leftist will keep that from happening.

But I hope the dems choke on it.

Big time.

1. No, they won't. Edwards will come out and in a choking voice ask his wife to forgive and the country to leave them alone while they go through this tragic time together. If necessary, he'll display his tearful wife, pleading for privacy so she can help him knit their marriage back together. They may or may not require the teleprompters that Obama would in the same circumstance.

After that, any comment on the situation will be decried by the D's as "Republican mudslinging," followed by the sins of all Republican officeholders.

Did I miss anything in this script?

2. I doubt she is in any shape to be going anywhere. I bet she gave John the okay to move on with his life and that is the agreement they have. If I bet correctly, does that change the dynamics?

3. I was never feeling much respect for this guy. This doesn't help.

4. Gee... the hypocritical left seems strangely quiet about their fair-haired $800 haircut boy.

Odd, isn't it? They had so much to say last cycle about Foley in Florida... Craig in Idaho and Curtis here in WA.

Of course, it's all different when a leftist scumbag is the culprit. Then the double-standard hypocrites of the left remain silent.

5. Blowback I have been reading is they are quiet because they didn't want to be the reason to be the downfall for the DalaiBama's VP nominee.
