As I filled out my mail-in primary ballot last evening, I darkened the squares for most all Republican candidates until I got to the Secretary of State. I just could not forget the pivotal role played by Sam Reed in the fraudulent placement of Christine Gregoire in office as Governor of Washington. Lately Reed has blaming the courts for the inclusion of King County ballots cast by Convicted Felons and some that were deceased because the Judge could not determine how these people voted. It was not up to a Judge Mr. Secretary, it was up to you to toss them and not include them in the totals. It was up to your Mr. Secretary to refuse to accept tabulations that were not signed and certified by the county election administrators. Perhaps some votes would not have been counted, but when the voters counted on you Mr. Secretary, you failed. I filled in the box for the Constitutional Party candidate on my ballot. A funny thing is my son later told me he had done the same thing. I wonder how many else will do the same.

Further, there is no need to support fake democrats when the real deal is available, so I'm voting for and will be financially supporting his opponent in the general REGARDLESS of who that may be and regardless of their party.

That way they say they vote for Rs and Ds and they are really middle of the road. There is something to be said for getting rid of the easy R.
However, I don't know anyone outside of Reed and don't know if the other guy would/could do worse, so I will go Reed.

At some point, non-responsiveness does, in fact, become a reason to fire office holders. And Reed's deliberate, "main-stream Republican" positions are just that.
There is no excuse for him to fail, time and again, to heed the message that Republicans do not want felons who have not completed ALL of their sentences voting; that we do not want illegal aliens and non-citizens voting, and/or failing to use genuine identification as a requirement for voting.
The call for these things is both loud and long; his failures in this regard are well-known; he has had 8 years to address the problem and has done absolutely nothing.
He has forfeited support from Republicans; and NO ONE should receive a vote from ANYONE JUST because of the label they're choosing to wear... particularly when they're failing, by any stretch of imagination, to live up to the basic tenets of that label.
