Daniel wrote one of the most demeaning and insulting obituary ever written on someone in public service the day after they died! Daniel wrote the obit on Tim Russert which was a moving tribute to the man, he then turns around and insults Snow's family and his memory.

NEWSPAPER BLOODBATH BEGINS AS THE AXE FALLS IN LA!

The Los Angeles Times says publisher David Hiller has resigned after 21 months at the helm of Tribune Co.'s largest paper. Insiders say it was involuntary and that he was asked to leave following a lack luster performance at the helm of one of the nation's worst newspapers!
The news comes the same day Chicago Tribune editor Ann Marie Lipinski was forced out at the Tribune's flagship paper, continuing a string of executive firings amid a broad cost-cutting effort at the company's papers nationwide.
Hiller was the third publisher to lead the Times since Tribune Co. bought the paper in 2000. Predecessor Jeffrey Johnson was ousted in late 2006 when he balked at trimming newsroom staff to cut costs.
The Times said two weeks ago it will cut 250 positions, including 150 in the newsroom. The paper did not immediately name a successor and word is that they can't find a qualified candidate who wants the job!

What's wrong with this picture? IF Gargoyle can't get her attack ads right, how can she run the state for another term? Very sad state of affairs for Washington residents.

Thousands more children received health care under my budget.

"Why would I help pay off debts that Hillary amassed simply to keep damaging Senator Obama?"
"Gas prices are up, the markets are in turmoil, my kid's fall tuition bill is coming soon. Writing checks to politicians I don't like is not at the top of my list."

Your kids, grandkids can now send and receive every kind of message--texts, IMs (instant messages), e-mails, and Facebook posts--with most new mobile phones. The young new generation is using these technologies and as far as THEY are concerned e-mail is obsolete, period.
So what? Well, the National Educational Association (the teachers union) has begun a shadow, underground political campaign putting out the false information that if OBAMA IS ELECTED, unlimited free texting will be available to all the kids in schools across the county. This phony buzz story has been firmly planted in the minds of our youth by these lying teachers.
Now you ask, why would they want to do that? As one Republican McCain staffer explained it to me.
"If you take 4 million underage kids, most have credit cards, and have them send $10 each (on average) to Moveon dot org or directly to the Obama campaign you can 'sand blast' a quick $40 million into your campaign coffers in a hurry. In fact that is exactly what their long term strategy is for this summer's campaign! We are also hearing that this rumor has spread into the college ranks and another false hope is being circulated there that Obama will forgive ALL STUDENT LOANS if he is elected. I knew the folks running Barack's campaign were sleaze bags but this really takes the cake. Word has it that this idea was hatched up by Howard Dean the magic, money making wizard at the DNC! God help us if Obama is elected President!"

GET OUT THE OIL RIGS AND START DRILLING!

An unscientific poll conducted in King, Snohomish and Kitsap Counties on the 5th of July yielded bad news for Greenocrats and Environ-nazi's:
52% of Puget Sound voters favor drilling in Puget Sound, ANWAR, and off the Coast of California to obtain oil for gasoline to drive their cars and trucks. 32% were opposed and 16% were undecided.
The spot poll conducted by a group of high level environmental decision makers from 3 local environmental groups came as such a shock they tried to hide the results.
One of LeCerveau's spies got wind of the poll and secretly e-mailed it to your blogger. Rumor has it that the Futurewise folks were so upset with the poll results that some staffers threatened to quit the organization if the poll were leaked. WELL, GO AHEAD AND QUIT because I just leaked it.
Maybe Futurewise will contribute to the Puget Sound Oil Drilling effort by donating some of that Brainerd cash? HA!

WORST POLL RESULTS FOR CONGRESS IN HISTORY?

The percentage of voters who give Congress good or excellent ratings has fallen to single digits for the first time in Rasmussen Reports tracking history. This month, just 9% say Congress is doing a good or excellent job. Most voters (52%) say Congress is doing a poor job, which ties the record high in that dubious category.
Last month, 11% of voters gave the legislature good or excellent ratings. Congress has not received higher than a 15% approval rating since the beginning of 2008.

The percentage of Democrats who give Congress positive ratings fell from 17% last month to 13% this month. The number of Democrats who give Congress a poor rating remained unchanged. Among Republicans, 8% give Congress good or excellent ratings, up just a point from last month. Sixty-five percent (65%) of GOP voters say Congress is doing a poor job, down a single point from last month.
Voters not affiliated with either party are the most critical of Congressional performance. Just 3% of those voters give Congress positive ratings, down from 6% last month. Sixty-three percent (63%) believe Congress is doing a poor job, up from 57% last month.
Just 12% of voters think Congress has passed any legislation to improve life in this country over the past six months. That number has ranged from 11% to 13% throughout 2008. The majority of voters (62%) say Congress has not passed any legislation to improve life in America.

Voters hold little positive sentiment about the future. Just 41% find it at least somewhat likely that Congress will address important problems facing our nation in the near future, while 55% find this unlikely.

Sittenfeld is closely involved with George Saros and a major supporter of Obama.

As one critic said, "It's a cheap hatchet job on the Bush family in an attempt to sell trash books just before the election. Curtis Sittenfeld is a cheap trash writer whose talent could only be described as 'completely lacking'. I was particularly interested in how Curtis was able to write about this character in such detail. Perhaps she is really writing about herself with a story filled with abortions, lesbians, back room sex, lies and a husband who is mentally impaired. I thought the story more closely fit Hillary Clinton!"

RE-NAME BRIGHTWATER SEWAGE PLANT FOR GREGOIRE?

After a California group submitted a proposal Monday to rename a San Francisco sewage treatment plant after President Bush, calling the initiative a fitting tribute to the outgoing chief executive and the "mess" he'll leave behind; local Snohomish County residents near the new Brightwater treatment plant want to name it after Christine Gregoire in honor of the odor expected to cause bad nights for down wind residents: "We have to deal with King County all the time, now we have all their excrement coming into our county as well and the Governor is responsible!" Brightwater is located conveniently on the Snohomish side of highway 522 but most of the 'you know what' will be coming from King County. Hey, let's face it; there is a lot of that smelly stuff over in King County, most of it in Ron Sims' office.

ANY SOUND TRANSIT TAX IS DEAD ON ARRIVAL

That was the word coming down this week from Democratic and Republican Politicians who had a chance to review the latest "RAILS TO NOWHERE" proposal by Sound Transit in another questionable ballot measure to present to voters this fall. Two options are under consideration to fleece voters in Snohomish, King and Pierce counties.

One absurd plan calls for $10.4 billion with inflation to tackle bus, train and light rail projects over the next 12 years. That plan aims to bring light rail to Northgate in King County. If the attorneys and consultants are able to spend money fast enough not one inch of track will be laid and all that money will make those shyster attorneys even richer.

The other bogus plan costs $14.7 billion with inflation that would complete transit projects over 15 years. Its pipe dream would push light rail farther north to Lynnwood by 2023. It was put together as a major gift to the engineering and construction consulting firms who are breaking their necks to give money to the Gargoyle campaign.

Said one LeCerveau Spy: "Voters are already dealing with high gas prices, raising the gas taxes is a joke and most folks already understand what Dino Rossi has been saying about that! This entire exercise is a VERY BAD IDEA!"

ANGRY BOSS SIMS TREATENS PROPERTY OWNERS AND
ENVIRON-NAZI CRACKPOT BRAINERD ALMOST HAS A COW?

After hearing that a three judge state appeals court has overturned King County's entire Critical Areas Ordinance, Boss Sims went on a rampage this week yelling at staffers and generally shouting on the telephone. Why? His brain dead attempt to take over property from property owners in rural King County is now dead!
First words out of Sims' big mouth: "We will pass even more restrictive ordinances to replace the ones overturned." He also warned property owners not to do anything by saying that the ordinance is "still in effect."
That comment and others this week from an upset and disturbed Boss Sims got a howl of laughter from Steve Hammond, former King County Councilman and now head of The Citizens' Alliance for Property Rights (CAPR). "The property owner won today and big government lost!"
Most land use attorneys say that with the ruling property owners can immediately get out their bulldozers and clear the land they own without even bothering to get a permit. "The County would be wise to step down here before there is any real trouble out in the rural areas!" replied one attorney. "We don't need anymore confrontations!"
And what are the real ramifications of this decision: IT OVERTURNS ALL RESTRICTIVE LAND USE ORDINANCES IN THE STATE COUNTY BY COUNTY where the law had no due process!
Word came from Seattle greenie crackpot zillionaire Paul Brainerd's office that he is calling a conference of his expensive trial lawyers. Futurewise and Brainerd's other paid for radical environmental robot organizations will work together to appeal this decision, reported one inside spy for LeCerveau:
"Brainerd is clearly very upset that all the millions of dollars he has spent on politicians like Ron Sims and Christine Gregoire have failed him and his Green Cause. Paul had hoped to eventually take away all property rights from property owners in Snohomish and King County."
On the other side word leaked out today that developers have scheduled a meeting in Everett sometime next week to discuss a major lawsuit against Snohomish County's power crazed bureaucrats who are also pulling a lot of illegal stuff on property owners.

On-line revenue has come in at a FRACTION of what was expected for ALL of the newspapers and now despondent publishers are having to face the fact the most traditional newspaper advertising in used cars, help wanted, real estate amongst other industry sectors is DEAD and will never come back as a newspaper revenue source!
And what about the secret meetings that will take place? They are even being kept secret as to where they will be and when, so no NEWS will leak out about companies discussing MAJOR LAYOFFS AND CUTBACKS.

EVERETT HERALD IN LIMBO?

The Washington Post has named Marcus W. Brauchli, a former top editor of The Wall Street Journal, as its executive editor. The appointment comes as a new publisher, Katharine Weymouth, starts making changes to try and make the organization profitable. Brauchli became the managing editor of The Journal in May 2007. It was taken over in December by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation, and Brauchli resigned under pressure in April. Marcus had been unemployed for two months!
Brauchli will take over a newspaper that has been hit hard by falling ad revenue and circulation. More than 100 newsroom employees recently accepted a buyout at The Post, whose news staff has declined from more than 900 early in this decade to about 700, and several Post executives say they expect the newsroom to shrink further in the next few years.
One major question that Brauchli will have to address is the focus of the Post. He has been charged to make the merger between on line and the published sides of the paper complete, ASAP, according to insiders. Then the question of trimming costs puts the Everett Herald in a delicate position. Industry insiders are speculating as to whether the post will sell the Everett operations to allow them to focus on the real revenue generating side of the business: THE WASHINGTON POST!
