EDWARDS' LOVE SLAVE ON FRONT PAGE OF INQUIRER!

Vice Presidential candidate Sen. John Edwards was caught visiting his mistress and secret love child at 2:40 the other day in a Los Angeles hotel by the NATIONAL ENQUIRER! Wow! The Democrats are just plain nutcases about sex with women other than their WIVES! First the Governor of New York now Edwards. There was even Jack Kennedy doing it in the White House with a hooker! I wonder about Obama? One thing that bothers me is EDWARDS' WIFE AT HOME DYING OF CANCER! WHAT A THOUGHTFUL AND CONSIDERATE GUY!

CANUCKS AND AUSSIES TO BUY PUGET SOUND ENERGY?

In one of the most interesting problems facing the US Dollar, now investors in Canada and elsewhere want to buy PSE for a 'song and a dance' when one ads up the rate of exchange. Consumer watch groups are up in arms about the prospects of FOREIGN control of energy assets in Western Washington. As a result you can expect a whole bunch of new PUD's to start springing up all over the place. Here are the links, and read about the latest energy HORROR story:

MORE MURDER DOWNTOWN, HOW MANY YEAR TO DATE?

It's just another murder. One that the police will never solve. Just another resident in downtown Seattle that somehow got involved with the drug gangs or perhaps just got in the way of a drive by shooting. What ever the reason, just another dead body. I don't know about you, but this is starting to scare me and I am avoiding going anywhere near downtown Seattle. Where is the Federal, County and City Drug Gang Task Force? Or was that just another political whitewash designed to make people feel good, while the bullets fly by?

BRAIN-DEAD SEATTLE CITY COUNCIL DECLARES WAR ON PLASTIC BAGS!

In a move designed to stop global warming, bring peace to the planet and drive retailer's nuts in Seattle, the City is on the verge of charging 20 cents per bag for customers and shoppers, who in many cases will have to pay this TAX on shopping. Here is another example of how stupidity and ignorance can define public policy.
"Trying to convince folks in Seattle that Meth is bad, pot is bad, CO2 does not cause global warming, is like spitting in a strong head wind!"
Retorts a Seattle reporter.
Funny, the Seattle Chamber of Commerce has said NOTHING about this tax which will again do harm to retail sales in a city already starting to die downtown with the loss of the Sonics, the worst team in baseball and the armed drug dealers who still control the street corners of the city at night.

BOSS SIMS SAYS NO TO SOUND TRANSIT!

In an op-ed to the Seattle-Times, King County Executive Ron Sims blows holes in the plan to con Western Washington Taxpayers out of 17.8 BILLION DOLLARS with nothing to show for it for 17 years. In what amounts to a declaration of war against Sound Transit, Boss Sims make it clear that HE wants to be the one who decides where and on what to spend that money not a bunch of folks already struggling under a scandal where Sound Transit gave over money to Seattle Crackpot Paul Brainerd's FUTUREWISE.

MAJOR SHOCK HITS NEWSPAPERS, NATIONWIDE!

The New York Times has announced that second quarter profits slipped by more than 80%, causing a MAJOR shockwave to hit newspaper front offices from coast to coast. Insiders say that unless things improve in the third quarter that the New York Times front office, in its entirety, will be looking for a job before year end. One major problem for the Times, its stock price. Major shareholders are starting to complain about the stock price which is already AT ALL TIME LOWS. Many reporters and employees WITHOUT TENURE are already updating their resumes and many are already up on the Monster Board. Here is the story: http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D923IUFO0&show_article=1

MEGALOMANIACAL OBAMA?

Press corps members and others in the Obama party were stunned this last week by the very strange behavior of Obama who has been saying and doing things that belie his status as merely a candidate for President of the United States. Off the cuff guffaws not reported by the press: "..in my tenure as President, .....in all 57 states, ......I will take care of that when I get back to the White House,.....I already know about that, ....I am in charge of that,.....I will do that... and the word "I" repeated some 87 times in one short speech. IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS MAN? Military commanders in Iraq quietly are talking disparagingly about Obama and labeling him as "THE CLOWN".

GARGOYLE CAMPAIGN VIEWED BY LUKE ESSER AND THE WSRP!

Christine Gregoire's re-election campaign continued its tail spin this past week, as the governor's irresponsible overspending received even more publicity. Gregoire has faced a spate of recent news stories examining her record, none of which have been particularly favorable. The latest bad news for the governor was a front-page Seattle Times story over the weekend titled, "How Spending Rose $8 Billion Under Gregoire."
The headlines of the various subsections of the Seattle Times investigative report tell you everything you need to know about the out-of-control spending and tax increases that have become the hallmark of the Gregoire Administration: "Number of state employees swelled," "Tax increases brought in cash," "Teachers, state workers got a big infusion," "Gregoire's office budget shot up."
Here's another sign of the Democrats' desperation. If you've been watching TV recently, you've probably seen Democrat attack ads crowding the airwaves with smears on Dino and other Republicans. But as you'll read in this week's update, the desperate tactics are not confined to your television. The Democrats are resorting to trumped-up ethics complaints that amount to sheer hypocrisy, and provide yet another a sign that they are drowning in their own desperation.
The good news is that the Democrats wouldn't be throwing these huge clumps of mud at Republicans in July if they were confident of victory in November. Gregoire and the Democrats are terrified that the truth has caught up with them, and that the voters will hold them responsible for all of their failures in Olympia.
The even better news is how strongly citizens have responded to Dino's call for change in state government. The Dino Rossi for Governor Campaign announced Tuesday that it has surpassed its fundraising total from the 2004 campaign, having now raised more than $6,254,035.80. The campaign officially broke the 2004 fundraising record last Friday, July 18th. More than 37,000 contributors have joined Dino's team, with 66 percent of them being new donors who have never contributed to Dino before.
If we do the work necessary to support Dino Rossi and our other outstanding candidates, we can put an end to the mismanagement and fiscal irresponsibility of Gregoire and the Democrats. Please do whatever you can to help our Republican candidates and your local Republican Party organization. Together we can put our state back on the right track.

VOTERS HAVING SECOND THOUGHTS ABOUT BARACK?
Jim Meyers Newsmax Copyright Newsmax.com
While Democrat Barack Obama continues to lead Republican rival John McCain in the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC poll, the survey also reveals that voters have some serious misgivings about an Obama presidency.
In the poll, 47 percent of respondents said they prefer Obama to win, compared to 41 percent for McCain. That's the same lead Obama enjoyed a month ago. But when asked which candidate would be better when it comes to being knowledgeable and experienced, 53 percent said McCain and only 19 percent chose Obama.
Asked who would be the better commander in chief, again 53 percent said McCain, while 25 percent said Obama. Respondents favored McCain by a 38 percent to 30 percent margin as being consistent and standing up for beliefs, and 42 percent to 31 percent as having strong leadership qualities.
Also, 55 percent said Obama would be the "riskier choice" as president, compared to 35 percent for McCain.
"The campaign's unusual dynamic appears to be the result of an anxious nation now sizing up an unconventional candidate who presents himself as the agent for change, which voters say they want," The Journal observed. "The focus has turned to the Democratic candidate himself: Can Americans get comfortable with the background and experience level of Sen. Obama?"
When respondents were asked about criticisms of Obama, the largest share -- a third of voters -- said they were most concerned that he that he might be "too inexperienced and not ready to be president."
Patti Carr of Collierville, Tenn., voted for Democrats in the last four elections. She is uneasy about this year's presumptive Democratic candidate, however.
"I see Obama as a very nice person but I don't believe he has the experience at this time to be president," she told The Journal.
"He's new, he's young and he still has a lot to learn, I believe."

ILLEGAL ALIENS GET FREE HEALTH CARE UNDER OBAMA

By DICK MORRIS & EILEEN MCGANN
Published in The New York Post on July 21, 2008.
Democrats' single most important domestic proposal - universal health insurance - may blow up in Barack Obama's face when voters are exposed to the deadly details.

Obama has said, proudly and often, "I am going to give health insurance to 47 million Americans who are now without coverage." But are they "Americans?"

That 47 million statistic includes illegal immigrants - who virtually all lack insurance. In fact, about one in four of those lacking insurance is here illegally. And they are, by far, the group most in need of health insurance.
About 15 million of the remaining uninsured are eligible for Medicaid but haven't signed up - mainly because they haven't gotten sick. When they do, they enroll in Medicaid and we pick up the full tab for their health care relatively cheaply. (About 80 percent of each Medicaid dollar goes to nursing-home care for the elderly, only about 20 percent for the medical needs of the poor.)

The rest of the uninsured pool? Virtually all the children are eligible for the State Children's Health Insurance Program. Some aren't enrolled because the parents haven't bothered, but most are eligible. That leaves about 20 million uninsured adults who are US citizens or legal
Covering illegal's adds dramatically to the cost of any program - and would encourage more folks to enter America illicitly.

Obama's plan will likely have a horrific effect on some local health-care systems.

Illegal's now get free emergency-room treatment for life-threatening conditions - as any other American who's entered an ER in an area with lots of illegal's recently well knows. (Three-quarters of the illegal-immigrant population is concentrated in five states: California, New York, Florida, Texas and Illinois.)

But now they'd be eligible for the entire range of medical services, all free of charge. That would trigger severe rationing: bureaucrats deciding who gets to see an oncologist, who can have an MRI - and even who can have bypass surgery and who'd die for lack of it.

These decisions would be made not on the basis of legal status but on the brutal facts of triage: Treat the 37-year-old illegal with his whole life to live before you spend scarce resources on an overweight, diabetic, 80-year-old citizen with high blood pressure who smokes.

John McCain hasn't raised this issue, perhaps for fear of offending the Latino vote. But polling suggests the case against rationing of health care would be as persuasive to Hispanic-American citizens as it is to the rest of us. Nobody wants to die waiting in line - especially not behind someone who snuck in ahead of us.

McCain needs to hit the Obama plan for treating illegal immigrants to free, federally subsidized health insurance - and hit it hard.

CRACKPOT OF THE WEEK AWARD

Give me the envelope. Wow this person earns more than 10 grand a month? What a ripoff!
Christine Gargoyle's campaign manager Kelly Evans wins the award HANDS DOWN this week for going negative too early in the gubernatorial campaign against Dino Rossi. Polls are already showing that it has backfired and has resulted in a downward spiral of her poll numbers. The Rossi Campaign is smiling and slapping each other on the back because all the ads do is call attention to the Rossi camp by the other side, without injecting ANYTHING POSITIVE about Gargoyle's past term as Governor!
On top of that, an insider had this to say, "They not only went negative too early this time out, but they did it at a time when they were peaking too soon coming up on November. Our poll numbers are starting to show a slight surge in the Rossi support, across the boards! We are finding that one out of four Democrats at this late date are either undecided or leaning to vote for Rossi!"
Congratulations to Kelly Evans for being not only an idiot, but a big fat head, crackpot as well. Kelly if I were you, I would update my resume, ASAP!

EDITORIAL
THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION

100 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE 7/26/1908-7/26/2008

As you read this piece, hundreds of dedicated FBI personnel around this nation and in places on this planet that are hostile to civilized forms of humanity work hard to make your life a dull and secure one. One of the reasons for a major reorganization of Britain's MI-5 in the 1950's was to emulate the US Federal Bureau of Investigation. European leaders to this day wish they had an agency as effective as our FBI.
One fact that many dedicated FBI personnel have to deal with is this: FBI failures are rare, but highly publicized. FBI successes are almost never made public and that happens to be the case with literally hundreds of incidents where the FBI has saved who knows how many American lives since 9/11.
No mention of the FBI would be complete without recalling J. Edgar Hoover who founded this organization and whose imprint on its structure will remain forever. Director Hoover is widely criticized today for many things he did while he ran the bureau.
I remember once a comment by the late Illinois Senator Everett McKinley Dirksen when asked about 'abuses' that Director Hoover was accused of having committed, "J. Edgar only did what he was told to do, by more than 6 Presidents!"
Many of us who lived through the days of the 1950, 60's and 70's almost to a person have said at one time or another, "9/11 would have never happened with J. Edgar Hoover as Director of the FBI!"

1. Well, Jack, you have stayed on the cover with your neverending new titles for a few weeks now. Congrats! Next, we will have you put on the main page. Don't have time to read but I had to scan after reading the headline.

2. I am more than a little concerned the Saudis and Dubaians are bailing out a lot of the thrifts.

Can't PSE get sold back to the public?

Dick Morris quote? I don't know what to make of the guy. With his insider information, he can always back up his predictions with information. So, I always read what he says, but one of his last ones, I have a little problem with. He says Maliki cut McCain's leg out because Maliki, ever the Arab leader, said whatever he had to say whether he agreed or not when he met with the DalaiBama. Good point, but there has been no bounce in the polls.

3. So many topics, so many opportunities to opine.

So, you mention Esser and the WSRP. It is good to see the Democrats may have to face the piper this November. But, I am not too impressed with the Republican Party. I hope they have good candidates to run against the incumbents. Toby Nixon has a shot, but are there in-roads being made in Eric's home area or in Seattle?

Hope you put up some real zingers on the DalaiBama's pilgrimage across Europe for the foreign leaders to pay homage. There is just something unsavory about the attention this idiot is getting.

4. "And it came to pass, in the eighth year of the reign of the evil Bush the Younger (The Ignorant), when the whole land from the Arabian desert to the shores of the Great Lakes had been laid barren, that a Child appeared in the wilderness. The Child was blessed in looks and intellect. Scion of a simple family, offspring of a miraculous union, grandson of a typical white person and an African peasant."

Hoo boy. This was from an article in the UK and quoted on the must reads at Lucianne.

Megalomanical Obama- reminds me of the midget on Wild, Wild West called Dr. Megalo, or something of the sort.
