So what are we going to do about this?

1. This is a 'gut' issue to me. No matter how much advertising happens, I don't think anyone's opinion will change.

However, another 20 years and I think it'll be another story.

Any idea of preliminary poll numbers?

2. Who cares. The kind of valueless people who will choose suicide are usually Progressives. The suicide rate on 99 at the Aurora bridge is quite high. Hmm, the Demographic of that area leans heavily left. If these want to vote themselves the right to kill themselves, there's not a whole lot anyone can do to stop them, any more than one could stop anyone determined to commit suicide.

Only a Progressive would ask for government assistance even for their own suicide.

3. Just a follow the money trail....
if physician assisted suicide becomes legal, does that mean that the life insurance companies have to pay ? Most policies don't pay for suicide.
Do insurance companies have a policy on this law?
Are they involved in fighting it?
