OBAMA SCARED TO DEATH OF BEING BRANDED A MUSLIM?

At a campaign rally in Detroit on Monday 6/23 Shimaa Abdelfadeel and Hebba Aref were prevented by volunteers from taking seats behind Obama that would have been in view of television cameras. Obama aides rushed forward and physically forced the women off the stage before TV cameras came on or photos were taken, ALL because of their Muslim headscarves. Obama at first was more than happy to be rid of the women, but when Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), the only Muslim in Congress (and a man who, unlike Obama, actually was sworn in on a Koran), got word of this incident he went off on Obama and the two had heated words to the point where staff aides had to separate the two Democrats.
My or my what seems to be the problem here? I thought we were all going to cheer diversity in America not ADVERSITY!

MCCAIN'S NEW CASH FLOW

For the first time in the campaign, Republican John McCain in May raised about the same amount of money, $22 million, as Democrat Barack Obama. McCain also closed the gap in the amount of cash in the bank the two parties' presumptive nominees have at their respective disposals as they enter the first phase of the general election.
McCain reported having about $32 million in cash for primary related expenses at the end of May.
Obama reported having $43 million in hand at the start of June--but about $10 million of that is dedicated to the general election. Obama's fundraising in May marked a sharp fall-off after months of record-breaking donations.
Much of this latest flood of cash to McCain began the day that Hillary Clinton dropped out of the Democratic Primary race.

IS IT REALLY ALL ABOUT MONEY?

In what was to be a financial meeting of the 'minds' last week, Obama campaign manager David Plouffe met with 20 of the HillBilly campaign's largest contributors. While the meeting was scheduled to last about an hour and a half, in less than 15 minutes all of the HillBilly money folks walked out in protest shaking their heads, leaving David and his staff alone in the room!
Insiders say that Plouffe was not only arrogant but insulting to most of Hillary's big money contributors telling them that there since there was not going to be another 'bubba' White House they had better 'tow the line' and send checks to Obama to show their 'loyalty'. Also Plouffe told the HillBilly's that Obama was not going to help Hillary pay down her more than $20 Million dollar campaign debt reportedly saying, "You dug that hole, dig yourself out!"
But the icing on the cake came when one of Hillary's best friends interrupted Plouffe and asked him why they had hired Patti Solis Doyle to look for a VP Candidate for Obama.
David's response (according to insiders on Fox and Friends), "We're looking for a REAL Vice President!"

In an announcement on 6/24 the Obama Campaign sent out an e-mail asking supporters to pony up 20 Million Dollars to help Hillary. A special hotline and fund was set up to handle the money. How much came in? In the first 24 hours only $13,324.22 were contributed. At this rate it could take 5 years to come up with only half of the HillBilly Campaign debt and Hillary has some of her own money in the mix.

In the meantime Barack Obama announced that he was going to change his mind and go ahead with private donations for his Presidential Campaign after using his support for public financing of campaigns for almost a year as a hammer against John McCain. Obama is going to dump the Federal 'Public' Funding option. The McCain campaign was quick to respond:

The true test of a candidate for President is whether he will stand on principle and keep his word to the American people. Barack Obama is now the first presidential candidate since Watergate to run a campaign entirely on private funds. This decision will have far-reaching and extraordinary consequences that will weaken and undermine the public financing system."

BOSS BRAINERD SAYS NO TO SNOHOMISH COUNTY

Paul Brainerd, multi-millionaire Seattle boss of the environment, last week ordered the members of the Snohomish County Council to vote to stop all development on more than 2,200 acres of land between the cities of Lake Stevens and Snohomish. Brainerd, the famous Environmental crackpot, has again used his bought and paid for politicians to do his bidding. Those Snohomish County Council Members under Brainerd's control are the sometimes rational, cartoon character Dave Somers and the always 'crazy as a seven dollar bill' Mike Cooper. The muddled and confused Brian Sullivan gets his marching orders from his immediate supervisor on the Council, Mike Cooper, and does EXACTLY what Cooper tells him. Cooper enjoys having his own 'personal robot' to do his bidding and makes sure that Sullivan KNOWS what he has to do to remain on the Brainerd campaign contribution payroll.

Brainerd is just another example of how the Environmental groups are engaged in abuses of power in King and Snohomish Counties. The immediate impact of his actions will be increases in rental charges for commercial small business space and another major increase in the cost of housing in Snohomish County. Local property owners are still reeling from their tax assessments they received last week which combined with recent tax hikes for School levies, fire district bonds and other assessments will average out a 27% increase in property taxes in 2009 over 2008 taxes for most Snohomish County property owners. Because Brainerd controls Snohomish County Development, he is mainly responsible for the high cost of housing brought about by a stream of senseless development regulations from the Snohomish County Bureaucracy.

Brainerd's empire includes the Pilchuck Audubon Society, Futurewise, the Thousand Friends of Oregon and Washington and his de facto control of local organizations such as the Brainerd and Bullitt Foundations. He also controls so many grants to the University of Washington that he and his people can have them issue just about any report the Brainerd people want, especially in the area of Climate Change. Brainerd's connection to the Al Gore 700 Million Dollar 'cap and trade carbon dioxide, global warming investment fund' is under investigation by this blogger!

BOB BARR COMES OUT SWINGING

Kicking off his nationwide campaign, Libertarian Candidate for President Bob Barr got an appearance this week on 'Your World' with Neil Cavuto and did a superb job. Barr was impressive and I believe that this appearance on the Fox Business Network's and cable TV's NUMBER ONE financial show will boost his prospects AND his campaign coffers. One of the items that ran shock throughout the Ronulan Empire today was Barr's statement that Ron Paul has unofficially endorsed Bob Barr for President and insiders here in Washington State tell me that Ron Paul, himself is encouraging his top financial backers to send money to Barr and the Libertarian Party. It was only last week that Ronulan Staffers were telling their storm troopers to vote for Chris Gregoire and Barack Obama as a prelude for 'taking over' the nation in 4 years!

It appears that the remnants of the Ronulan Empire are not lining up to support either the Republican Party or GOP candidate John McCain. This is undoubtedly going to cause problems from within the Washington State Republican Party given that Evergreen State's Ronulans already have a reputation for being 'Pathological Liars' at the WSRP.

On the Libertarian Vice Presidential front, observers were surprised that Bob Barr approved the selection of Wayne Allyn Root to be his running mate. Root is the famous TV sports handicapper who became famous early in cable TV with his sports gambling show on the Financial News Network (later CNBC). He's one of those Saturday morning guys on the USA Network trying to get you to call some 888 number and pay up to $100 a call for insider information about NFL games and how to place your bet with your local bookie based on his predicted action and the point spreads.

DEMOCRATIC PARTY HISPANIC LEADERSHIP STUNNED

Without any consultation about the consequences for Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama and his Hispanic vote in Texas and California, the DNC came out with unqualified support this week for gay marriage which caused a lot of grumbling inside the Hispanic leadership. Most Hispanics are violently opposed to 'gay marriage'.

But that's only part of the problem; suddenly Democrat after Democrat in both Houses of Congress issued statements and gave news interviews this week jumping on the 'let's stop illegal immigration' bandwagon. TIM RUSSERT'S REPLACEMENT?

Like sharks in a pool fighting over a juicy beef brisket, major league media players are lining up with their agents to take a crack at the 'sweet job' doing 'Meet the Press' on NBC. Currently here are the NBC insiders who are being looked at for the position with their pros and cons:

Most observers that I talked to believe that Mrs. Alan Greenspan, otherwise known as Andrea Mitchell, is the favorite amongst the news staffers at NBC to continue the Russert legacy. Tom Brokaw would jump at the job as a semi-retirement gig and Tom has already been asked to fill out the remainder of the season for the late Tim, but insiders say he is OUT and will not be the replacement.
There is also a group of 'outsiders' lining up to be looked at for this position, but that list is VERY CONFIDENTIAL at this time. Word leaked out late Wednesday that that list may include Fox News Channel's Chris Wallace, who is one of the most respected of the Sunday News Show commentators. It would be the first time that Fox has lost a high level profile newsperson to one of the old broadcast networks if NBC could talk him into leaving (IE Come up with enough money?)

As for Keith Olbermann of MS/NBC, he got involved in a confrontation with AMTRAK officials when he arrived at the station to travel to Tim's memorial service. His ticket was coach from NBC and he raised holy hell about it in front of people who came away with the impression that he was nuts. He kept yelling out that he would only travel FIRST CLASS! One observer commented: this guy needs therapy.
Then latter in the day at the Kennedy Center at a dinner, Keith went ballistic when he could not find HIS CATSUP on the table. Hey Meet the Press could do worse! The only problem is I can't come up with anything comparable. What is this guy smoking?

ITEMS OF A WILD AND CRAZY KIND

Obama campaign handlers fearing that she has an image as a vindictive, harsh and very uncompromising candidate wife, finally got Michelle Obama to agree after fighting the proposal for weeks, to bring in Stephanie Cutter to take over as her chief of staff and 'clean up her image'. That will include a makeover and training to smile softly at the TV cameras. A speech person will show her how to speak with tenderness and with a more palatable tone of voice. Hey, that's one way to keep these women under control! What's next, electro shock therapy?

9th District Congressman from the Tacoma area Adam Smith has emerged as one of the national defense spokesmen for the Obama campaign. Not exactly widely regarded as one of those 'blue dog' Democrats, Smith has recently been advocating a position for Obama that is hard for even Smith to swallow: police action rather than military action against terrorists. Maybe the ACLU is taking over the Obama Campaign! Let's see, read them their rights on the battlefield and then shoot 'em? Maybe we could have them sign a release before we introduce them to 'water boarding'!

I have to call this story/rumor, STRANGE hoping that no one will jump to the conclusion that this came from the Seattle magazine of almost that name when I report that rumors are circulating that Debra Carnes the Communications Director for the Gargoyle Campaign has quietly passed the word around to key operatives around the state to be on the lookout for DINOCRAT bumper stickers and signs. Sightings are to be reported back to campaign headquarters. I wonder if they also should consider UFO witness reports, Sasquatch sightings or alien abductions? Maybe next they will be taking down license plates and starting a black list for DinoCrats! I could get real paranoid about that!
