1. Here's story being hushed up in the mainstream media: Major Obama supporter and long time friend of Barack, Antoin "Tony the Fist" Rezko was convicted in a Chicago Federal Court of 6 out of 9 felony counts for charges of buying influence on behalf of Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich's administration. Rezko doesn't deny his role as a high-powered money man for major Democrats -- including his close friend presidential candidate Barack Obama -- but he refutes prosecutor's allegations that he tried to shake down companies that wanted to do business with the state. "Tony the Fist" provided Obama and his wife with terms, financing and an 'under valued' house that is now Barack's home.

2. Observers have been shocked and puzzled by MS/NBC's Chris Matthews obvious OBSESSION with Idaho Senator Larry Craig. In one very strange video Matthews is seen and heard talking about having the Republican Party Convention delegates show up at an 'airport Larry Craig Memorial bathroom' and have a 'get together' tapping their feet! I asked a noted Seattle therapist to view the video and here is what she had to say: "First of all this man seems a bit effeminate to me and he is lisping his words. There is no way for me to be sure, but I would guess this obsession of his with closeted gay men may have something to do with the man's own secret sexual orientation!"
(I guess you can never 'really' know who is in that adjoining public bathroom stall!)

3. Democratic pollsters were stunned to find that ONLY 59% of all Democrats approved of having Hillary Clinton as Obama's running mate and only 38% of that number were solid in their support for her as the VP candidate. The remaining 41% of the sample were ADAMENTLY opposed to her being on the ticket. Ben Johnson, the ice cream Billionaire African-American, is pushing to have Hillary on the ticket but has privately told members of the Congressional Black Caucus that Obama's campaign staff are 'violently' opposed to having her on the ticket.

4. John McCain is going after the HillBilly vote.
"She deserves a lot more appreciation than she sometimes received," McCain said of Clinton.
"As the father of three daughters, I owe her a debt for inspiring millions of women to believe there is no opportunity in this great country beyond their reach."
The strategy could pay off. Some women supporters have said they will back McCain over Obama -- despite the former first lady's entreaties on the campaign trail not to do so.
"I'm disappointed that Hillary didn't make it, being a female," said Brittany Ford, 19, a black student from Columbus, Ohio. She said she's now looking at McCain, adding simply: "I don't care for Obama."
Plus, yesterday a MAJOR campaign advisor for Hillary said after receiving her 'termination notice', "I will be able to sleep better if John McCain were President." Some 629 Clinton campaign staffers were fired yesterday and have a couple of weeks to find new jobs.
