I issued a challenge to the leftwingers in an open thread over at HA to submit proof that Obama will work with both republicans and democrats, as he promises in his campaign speeches. No one was able to submit any proof of this at HA.

The challenge was issued because there doesn't seem to be much in the way of proof that he's done so in the past. He has been known by those in Illinois politics as the most leftist state senator ever to be in state government. He's currently known as one of the most leftist U.S. senators to currently serve, if not THE most leftist. He didn't vote to confirm Alito. What exactly is the proof that he will or has worked across the aisle before?

We've seen McCain work with democrats. But I issue the challenge to all leftwingers/democrats to show proof that Obama has worked well with republicans.
