Obama's uncle did what?

Barrack Obama's relative, first identified as an uncle, then a nephew, and now a 'great' uncle, was at Auschwitz and helped liberate this awful Nazi Concentration Camp; this all according to the lead Presidential hopeful of the Democratic Party. Therefore, Barrack's uncle was with the first US troops that liberated a Nazi Concentration camp according to Obama. Problem? Well his 'great' uncle would have had to be a member of the advanced Spetznaz 'Shock Troop Squadron' in the lead elements of the First Army of the Ukrainian Front, under the command of Marshal Koniev in order for this story to even be partially true.

More importantly, the first US Unit to liberate a concentration camp were members of the '2nd Cavalry Group, Mechanized' in front of Patton's Third Army. On 4/4/1945 they found the Ohrdruf Concentration Camp outside of Gotha and they called their commander General Patton to come see for himself. Patton vomited on the scene and called General Eisenhower who personally toured the camp and also was sickened by the sights.

And how would I know that? My late uncle was there and I don't recall him talking too much about it. I know he didn't spend 6 months hiding in an attic when he got home. He was too busy buying a new 1946 Chevy and getting married.
Like 'global warming' the Democrats believe that truth is something they can manufacture out of the dim recesses of their little used or educated brains. SHAME ON YOU OBAMA, you ought to be careful you are starting to lie like Hillary and Governor Christine Gargoyle.

1. He is a very defective and insecure human being.

2. Hmmm, this is a pretty lame argument against Barry O. I loathe the guy, but pushing this is gonna help him, not hurt him. I probably called his great uncle "Uncle". Confusing Auschwitz and Buchenwald might have been part of the family meme. It's really not important to the story. The greater point was that wars mess some people up, and the Veterans Administration should be doing more to help them. That is a perfectly reasonable position to take, and a little personal history personalizes the point.

If you want to take him on, take him on on his veterans proposals, not whether he got the "Crazy Uncle Fred" story right. Attacking that just gets Barry pity points with the bleeding hearts.

3. If Obama was trying to help himself with Vets, this story will doom any support from most members of the VFW or the American Legion. One thing vets will not tolerate, and that includes me, is someone lying about anything having to do with service. It reminds me of the legion of 'so-called' vet hippies who used to run around claiming to be Vietnam Vets who were in fact NEVER IN THE SERVICE. Now so many have been outed, they are careful to not wear fatigues anymore.
John Kerry's bogus FORM DD-214 cost him the election. How was it spotted? It was typed on a typewriter that didn't exist at the time of the dates on the form.
Obama's 'uncle' edisode is all over the internet on Vet Blogs today and IT WILL NEVER GO AWAY.

4. Hairy, you take on the DalaiBama by going after his bonafides (there aren't any) rather than proposals his handlers give him to toss out there. This won't be a race of substance but a race of gravitas.

5. I gotta tell ya swatter, it depresses me to no end that someone who is as much of a naif as Obama could ever be serious considered to be leader of the free world. He is so obviously underqualified and filled with wacky moonbat left ideas. OK, so commune rejects and young impressionable kids swoon over him. Any one can find themselves to be a "rock star". But the number of serious adults who support this clown is extremely disappointing.

Oh well, in a world filled with 911 truthers, Ronulans, progressives, and sasquatch believers, I suppose I shouldn't be quite so surprised.

6. My thoughts, exactly.

Maybe, just maybe, this country needs to have an Obama once every 30 or 40 years just to remind everyone why there is an Obama every 30 or 40 years.

I hear that rock star stuff, still. My 7th grader went from a Republican to an Obama fan in one month.

I just hope not. At least with my way of dealing with it, I feel confident on my persuasive abilities which aren't stellar in the ways of politics. Most people don't care about the details.
