Tuesday Night Election Get Together

How about a Sound Politics North End Get Together for Tuesday night's primaries?

We can boo for both Hillary and Barack, and grumble when McCain goes over the top.

Suggestions for locations are welcome.

Bill Cruchon suggested the bar at the Wedgwood Broiler (8230 35th Ave NE).
Or the Caroline Tavern (13702 15TH Ave NE).

I haven't called either of these places to see if they would be willing to turn their TV's to FOX News for the night, but if there is interest I will make the call. Or if you already know of a good spot in the North End for this kind of thing, let us know.

If you want to have one in some other part of town, start your own damn thread. ;-)

2. None of you pansies showed up! Even Bill Cruchon gave it a pass when it looked like it was only going to be two of us. I think he was put off when I said my table would have a single red rose. Or maybe it was the threat that Mrs. Hairy would be there.

I'd still like to see this group set up a get together time/place. Sadly I sense a lack of true commitment to conservative causes, or maybe public displays of inebriate behavior. Of course it could be that not enough people reading the public blog, lol.

Seriously, nobody really responded so I didn't even call the places to see if they would be ok dedicating a TV or two to Fox News.

I may take another run at it sometime, and would gladly join in someone one else giving the idea a try. (hint, hint, hint)
