OK, so here I am, deep in the belly of the beast. Jim McDermot is my congressional representative. In my neighborhood conservatism is the sin that dare not speak its name. So where does a thirsty patron of Sound Politics go to wet his (or her)(or its) whistle and engage in sensible political discourse.
Are there any conservative watering holes in North Seattle? Has anyone ever tried a casual Sound Politics get together? Maybe a sports bar at which like minded souls could enjoy booing Hillary when she appears on the big screen during a debate. Without fear of the progressives protesting the violence in Iraq by throwing their miller light bottles and latte cups at us.
Of course I pick on N Seattle as it is convenient for me. I suppose others could meet in Renton, Issaquah, or Tacoma. Are there enough of us to support regional party spots? You tell me.
Looking for a place where everybody would know your nickname.

Posted by HairyBuddah at February 13, 2008 11:33 PM | Email ThisI just saw an article on a new online dating site for farmers. If a guy can find a gal who is willing to milk his cows at 4 am, surely there have to be a couple of other righties living in Baghdad Jim's district.
Wistfully,
