TV crew catches Romney campaign taking down McCain signs in NH

Some people with the Mitt Romney campaign removed McCain yard signs from the snow and replaced them with Romney signs just before a Mitt Romney event in New Hampshire:

Can you say "scummy"? Romney is worried, and he's getting dirtier than usual. As another Huckabee supporter has put it, "I'm allergic to Mitt."

2. If I worked for the Romney campaign I wouldn't be proud of that at all. But supporters of one candidate messing with another's signs is a time honored tradition from the local to the federal level that will never be stopped (mostly because campaigns can never control their own supporters down at that grasroots level) and sure as heck isn't "dirtier than usual."

3. Were any of them Mexicans? Because I KNOW that Mexicans just LOVE McCain.

4. Whoops! Boy, did I read THAT wrong. Sorry, guys. I am putting DOWN the mouse and stepping AWAY from the computer. I'm exhausted from work anyway. Going to bed.

And umm... yeah.

5. Are you sure they didn't have permission of the property owner? Are you sure that Romney didn't rent the venue and had a right to remove the signs?

These guys go from one event to the other and use the same facilities. I wouldn't be surprised there would be some overlap.

Give me some more info on location, info on the owner and the venue.

6. Actually, the woman said the school asked them to remove them. Around here, there are laws prohibiting political signage within a certain number of feet of a school. Could have been in play here. Don't know if that was a factor.
