Merry Christmas and Happy New Year form TrueSoldier

I wish you all a joyous and MERRY CHRISTMAS and may your New Year be filled with prosperity.

It's been a long time since I posted last as I have earned a promotion (yes I am still in Iraq) and with any promotion comes more duties and responsibilities. I am doing quite well and looking forward to taking some vacation time in Feb with my wife and children.

As we head into the holidays over the next two weeks please take them time to say a prayer and thanks to all of our brave men and women serving our nation and their families who sacrifice their time together at the holidays to ensure our continued freedom.

God Bless you all and keep up the good fight back on the homefront.

1. Congrats on the promotion! And a very Blessed Christmas and Happy (and safe) New Year to you and those with whom you serve! You are NOT forgotten by those of us who truly appreciate your commitment and service - we pray you will all be able to come home soon but we thank you daily for the job you do and the risks you take to keep us safe here at home! God bless!

3. TrueSoldier, thanks for checking in, your voice has been missed. Congratulations on the promotion. Not only do you get new duties and responsibilities, but you must have been working your tail off before as well.

Merry Christmas and best wishes into the New Year.
