Darcy Burner is back!

I got a call on Thursday or Friday in the early evening. It was a recorded message from Darcy Burner informing me that she was running for Congress. (It was her voice claiming she was a candidate for Congress).

The message went on to announce that she was sponsoring (or hosting) an event at the Fairwood Library testing for lead content on children's toys. Inviting me or others in my house to bring a new or used toy to test for lead.

I guess she never really stopped running for office. Apparently her campaign will be for the children this time around. Following Nancy Pelosi's lead perhaps she will surround herself with children.

Did anyone else get the robo-call from Ms. Burner?

1. No, but I got some lame robo-call push-polling against Reichert by some democrat front group. They were actually trying to convince voters that Reichert was some tax-increaser (as if Darcy Burner was going to be some tax-cutter in his place. har har har.) I didn't fall for it for a second.

2. Burner, using children to get to the heartstrings of voters. A typical progressive tactic. Because Republicans don't care about lead in children's toys right?

Voters will see through this pandering just like they did the fake title of Microsoft Executive.
