END the Mass. Income Tax moves forward

The State Initiative to END the Mass. income tax is moving closer to the ballot with 100k signatures submitted.

Start saving now to send funds for the ballot campaign, in 2008. I sent them $50 a few weeks ago.

Read the details.

Be sure to read the Boston Globe link (as "source") - if you think initiatives are hard in WA, read about the hoops that have to jumped through to get an Initiative in Mass.

1. This initiative is a second attempt. The first try was in 2002, and in spite of having no funding, and a well-funded opposition, and almost unanimous opposition from the local newspapers it shocked evryone in Taxacheusetts and got 45% of the vote!

The libertarians who are running this attempt, Carla Howell and Michael Cloud, have learned a thing or two from the first try and are very likely to be successful.

I gave them $100 when they were collecting signatures a month ago. This is a great cause to donate to. If they win, there will be much less chance that we will get an income tax in WA. PLEASE donate to this cause. The money you save may be your own.
