Recently, Judy Rudiani stated that he wouldn't kow-tow to the Religious Right. He seems to not have a problem kow-towing to the Secular Left. It is insanity for any presidential candidate to blow off the Christian voter. Even the Dems pander to the Religious Right because they know the importance of that voting block.
So this is my prediction: If Rudy gets the nomination (Which I think he will) RUDY WILL LOSE AND HILLARY WILL WIN the Presidency because either Rudy is stupid by blowing off the Christian voter or he is a Machiavellian hypocrite, who really believes he will gain more votes from the Hillary camp than he will lose from the Christian camp OR he is both. So logically there is a 2/3rds probability of him being stupid and thus losing.

Posted by TracyOetting at October 04, 2007 01:56 PM | Email ThisI personally have a problem with so-called (not necessarily you, Tracy) evangelicals who call themselves Republicans threatening to form a third-party if their nominee doesn't get selected.
That is what the nomination is all about.
To go further, I have a hard time with so-called evangelicals who can't tell the difference between Giuliani and Clinton. I think it is a night and day difference.
Off-subject, but still on-subject, did you see that Thompson with only one month of campaigning pull in 9 mil versus Giuliani's 11 mil for 3 months? There are a couple of ways to look at it, but it shows Fred is around. But then, I heard the evangelicals are mad at him, too.
Posted by: swatter on October 4, 2007 04:56 PMYou say anyone you deem a moderate is a RINO, but the moderates aren't the ones threatening to leave the party. So you're saying you and you ALONE get to say who is and isn't a Republican, oh, and you might leave the party yourself. wow. :)
Posted by: AD on October 9, 2007 06:23 PMThis is it? This is your arguments against my valid concerns in a Party I see being taken over by lefties? All you can do is attack ad hominem. Come on! Give me some real valid reasons why you think I'm wrong. Just don't hit and run.
Also, plz provide quotes to these supposed things I said. I'm most interested in where I said that, I and I ALONE get to say who is and isn't a Republican and that I might leave the party as if you would discourage that.
Thanks.
