I won the Schrammie. You can read or watch Ken Schram's opinion of me, and see or hear the object of his outrage, the song I wrote called "Osama Bin Laden, You Ruined My Birthday."
1. Pudge, they just don't get it. But, THANKS. I enjoyed your posts very much. It was nice to have a distraction from the coverage of our fearless leaders lecturing General Petraeus on the war in Iraq. You're in good company... look what he had to put up with. You were a sport to go on the radio show in the first place. BTW, it IS my birthday this week and it was nice to listen to your song. It brightened up what is otherwise a tragically somber week.

2. Couldn't you have just gone to the mariner game, and sat behind the batters box with a cell phone and get on TV.

3. I wasn't trying to get on TV. *shrug*

4. I wouldn't get too high and mighty, the Schrambo award has lost its luster.
And the mighty John Carlson should get a new gig. That is why my preference is KOL1300. Sorry, Kirby.
Hang in there; seems you are weathering a blizkrieg most politicos have to face at some time or another.

5. swatter: no, there's nothing negative about any of this. I wouldn't call it anything remotely similar to a blitzkrieg. Other than Schram himself, I've gotten nothing but positive feedback.

6. Oops, just got some negative feedback from one guy on YouTube. :-)

7. As long as you were trying to get under schrams skin it was alright with me.

8. pudge, that negative comment was probably about your singing. :)

9. :p
Nah, he said the same basic thing as Schram, that how terrible a person I am for lacking empathy for the people who died, and their families.
