Vote NO on ALL the Propositions!

I'm new to blogging, so I hope you'll all be patient with me. Please visit my blog for my reasons why everyone should vote against both of the King County propositions as well as against the two City of Redmond propositions. Both the city and county have plenty of funding, but the council members lack the guts to make tough budget choices. Time to say NO!

2. I had already decided to do that... and the 3 others that ask my advice will follow suit.

I am sick and tired of this miserable county funding everything under the sun except the necessities that are the very reason for their existance.

I'm sick and tired of them "suddenly" finding themselves in an "emergency" situation where parks will close, ambulances won't run, fire trucks will go silent, schools will close their doors and the police will stand down.

Sadly, there are more suckers than thinkers that vote and they will gullibly, stupidly fall for the immediate and desperate hysteria and the morons is charge will continue to spend with gleeful abandon.

3. I Voted No on both propositions in Seattle because:
1) It is unjust that these are on the primary ballot instead of the general. A tiny minority vote in the primary, and more of these are D's because the D's have more primary challengers. It's an attempt to select the voters instead of letting the voters choose.

2) The Zoo should be privately funded. Giving them money from taxpayers is corporate welfare, it's a special interest subsidy, it's dictating to poor people how they should spend their money, it's like somone else telling you to spend more money on recreation, and it amounts to theft.

I'm a voluntary contributor to the Zoo. I love the place. I got married there. If this proposition fails I will contribute some extra money. If it passes I just might be so ticked off I may stop going.

3) The parks should also rely more on private contributions. There is so much waste. Let them reduce the waste before they get more money.
