Hagues DUI

Stefan are you holding back comments on Jane Hague's DUI arrest and verbal attack on the police officers because you gave her a campaign contribution of $100?

1. I'm glad the police stops anyone who's seen driving like that and I hope Hague has learned her lesson. We drive that bridge and a lot of us have kids who drive that bridge.

2. Maybe she will get the same treatment as Bobby Bridge. Whoops wrong Party, she's got to go. Gee maybe Pope has a chance afterall.

3. Is this the same Jane Hague who blamed a Metro Driver when she hit a bus and said "I am Councilmember Jane Hague!"?

And is this the same Jane Hague who’s dog attacked her neighbors and then she misused her office to keep the dog when it was a proven threat to young people?

And is this the same Jane Hague who violated the county ethics code in 1999 by taking thousands of illegal lobbyist dollars? (Seattle PI June 3, 1999)

Is this the same Jane Hague who cost taxpayers $96,000 by forcing an investigation into her donors? (Seattle Times, July 1, 1999)

How does she get away with it year after year after year . . .

4. Yes that's the same Jane, who despite her history still kept any Democrat who could walk and chew gum from signing up to run against her. You have to be proud that Pope stepped in where lesser Democrats failed right Will?

5. Call a spade a spade; Jane's a Repub in name only (rino).
a) she was useless in the elections fiasco (remember she once ran the agency and you'd think she knew the questions to ask??
b) she's a rich landlord, not hardly someone who represents all of us...
c) Pope sounds a better choice
d) yeah, i sound commie but i'm still right wing; its just she isn't

6. What better pain to inflict upon the King County Council Democrats than have to deal with Richard Pope on a daily basis?

Logjam! Sounds like a great plan to me! This is why I voted for him in the Port of Seattle race.

He'll probably spend the first 14 meetings just ranting about the other councilmembers' PDC filings.
