An impoverished town in Transylvanian Romania named Rosia Montana strikes gold, but George Soros and foreign environmentalists (American whack-jobs including Vanessa Redgrave) say, leave it in the ground. At least while they're fighting to keep people impoverished overseas, maybe someone or some place here in the United States is being left alone to prosper.
