Ron Sims' New Tax Vision

Want to know what Ron "Tax-to-the-Max" Sims has in store for you?

Read in amazement how he plans to put new tolls on all Seattle area highways and freeways. (I wish this were merely a bad joke..)

1. Blech.

So, the Patriot Act is an infringement on your liberties and an intrusion on your privacy.

Having tracking devices in your car so that you can be taxed by when and where you drive is acceptable and not an infringement on your liberties and an intrusion on your privacy?

Oh. If a law is intended to protect society from terroists and the destruction they can cause, it is bad.

If a law is to generate more revenue for the government to spend as it wishes, and may have the added benefit of forcing social engineering and conformity on the masses, then it is good.

Blech.

2. He just chased the Renton dinner train all the way to Tacoma. Look soon for the Tacoma Dinner train, and a huge void in the businesses in the Renton Dinner train Vacuum.

100,000 train riders wasn't a good thing in Mr Sims mind...Oops, isn't that what he is promoting?

Yet another thriving business and it's employment gone out of King County!

3. Sims' first job is to pad criminal justice budgets, and then release the ballons saying crime is down to its lowest levels, then pad criminal justice some more..

Sims' second job is to get more and buses every year,
Then force the public with carrot, stick and flubber to ride them.
Its the old Bust -em and bus-em budget for the last 15 years now.
Thats how he has gotten re-elcted year after year.
Thousands of People with more and more benefits with less and less responsibility count on him being re-elected.
