Fred Thompson Fundraising News!

According to the Thompson campaign, these are the results of the first 48 hours since they launched www.imwithfred.com and announced it on "Hannity & Colmes" after the GOP debate:

In 48 hours since the Web site launch (with no paid advertising, or pre-oorganized push by donor operation):

29,463 registered supporters

$352,323.00 in donations

3,360 contributors

Or: $7,340 an hour. If they could keep that up for a month (just as an admittedly silly mathematical exercise), they'd have $5.3 million by early July

3. Anyone who likes Fred Thompson should watch this video about the Council on Foreign Relations (a private organization), which Fred is a member of...

He's not the only Republican (or Democratic)candidate with such **interesting** ties. Fred also is a member of the American Enterprise Institute, which is a pro-war organization.

4. Nicole: Did you actually read the post you put up? What the hell is a "pro-war" organization? Not even the Army is "pro-war"!
The AEI does research in 3 policy areas; Economic policy, Social and Political studies and Defense and Foreign policy studies. Are you foolishly suggesting that Defense studies make it "pro-war"?

5. I have to say i am pleased that senator Thompspn
is running for the office. I am a Dem. but will vote if he is the party nominee. Watched his fate since he was a senator and liked his views. Good Luck
