News from a Sandstorm

Hi everyone. I figured this would be a great time to send an update seeing as there is a pretty big sandstorm going on outside and we are taking cover.

All is well here. I have heard some of the fighting off in the distant but have not heard anything about what went on. I figure no news is good news.

On another note, I did run into a couple of guys from our neck of the woods. They are glad to hear that the majority of people on this site truly support them and thier mission. They are due to come home soon, but have told me if they are called on to come back they will without hesitation. These two guys are true blue American Hero's in my eyes. They are willing to sacrifice their time with their families and possible even their lives to ensure that our nation and our freedoms will continue to live on.

1. Do you come across any of the disgruntleds? There has to be a few of them, or do they keep quiet while they are over there, or do they become 'disgruntled' only when they can get their 15 minutes?

2. It's always good to hear from you True Soldier, and we love your updates. Keep them coming and you and your comrads stay safe.

We (with all of your help) will win this battle, and that is the fear of the democrats, because their only way to 2008 is keeping their anti war dialogue going.

Their ratings are in the 29% favorable this week, so they are heading nowhere fast.

If there is anything we can send or do for you or any of your troop, just ask! Email any one of us or post your needs. That is what we are here for, and we would feel great being able to help you and the troops.

4. I havent come across any of the disgruntled yet, but I did see one have a letter to the editor in the stars and stripes. The funny thing is the person complaining was at a camp that every soldier has either a trailer or a room in an actual building (unlike the base I am at where about half the people are still in tents). Of course the letter writter was just regergitating the D's talking points and the next few days they were shot down by other military members (privates to sgts) in rebuttal LTE's.

5. One other note, Toby Keith is coming to the base I am at in about a week to put on a free show for the troops. I am not a big country fan, but I will say that the country singers have been some of the best morale support for the troops that I have seen.

6. I Agree with you and what democrats do you see helping provide $$$ for either you brave soldiers, or for your families.

I see these country singers stepping up and showing up at every single concert or gathering that supports you folks.

Hannity is putting on nation wide shows that all the proceeds go towards soldiers families.

These folks work for you folks, and you folks work for us.

We support all of you and what you bravely do every day.

Keep safe!

7. Gs,

I actually got to go to the Hnnity Freedom Concert last August in San Diego (I was one of the KVI winners). It was a really good show and a great time. I would also like to point out that there is another celeb that comes over here fairly regularly and that is Gary Sinise (Lt Dan from Forrest Gump). I would urge everyone to support the movies.tv shows he is in as he supports the troops and the mission. He even collected school supplies to hand out to Iraqi school children and the school was built by our troops. He tries to get the word out, but even he gets the run around.

8. Good old Lt Dan, well that was a kick ass show. I have seen him in a few shows after Forest Gump. Let's run him for President! He could take Hillary on a shrimp boat experience.
