KVI, Thurston's Corrupt Courts and You

Let me extrapolate on what I said in the comment thread about Wickham and KVI.

I've followed Wickham since 2003- suffice to say that his decisions aligning with actual law are purely a coincidence. His ruling against KVI reflects the norm, not the exception.

Locally, the Zero (The Olympian) endorsed Wickham heavily in his election; printed endorsements 3:1 over those for other candidates. Many know he's as crooked as they come and has no business sitting on the bench and yet did nothing to prevent it...others just plain like the fact that they've got a person on the left to legislate from the bench. hey- that's how a large portion of Thurston County rolls.

There is a pretty thick money chain between Wickham's supporters, the courts and DSHS. Unfortunately Thurston's legal community is so incestuously corrupt for profit that no one will stand up to Wickham and the rest of the bench here - so it's a steady stream of lambs to slaughter when it comes to actual justice. Since running against a sitting judge is career suicide in most counties, CHRIS WICKHAM WILL BE UNOPPOSED IN THE NEXT ELECTION!!!!

How dangerous is that?

With regard to the money chain above- we quite frequently see Wickham down at the legislature testifying in front of committees as a judge, and serving on various 'teams' of DSHS voting to jack up child support for upper and middle income families, give less time to non custodial parents and anything else which is going to result in cash for further screwing up already broken families. CPS/DSHS get more federal dollars for these outcomes and in exchange DSHS gives generous grants to Thurston's courthouse and supporters of those who sit on its bench (DAWN, YWCA other women's groups etc). It's usually with the front of funding domestic violence which is code for lobbying cash to legally rape dads in custody battles/child support and alimony. Currently there is a proposal to raise sales tax in Thurston for this SAME group of sharks. It's really quite insane to watch.

Locally the legal community makes a good profit on this insanity- so it goes on without end. If someone is crazy and dumb enough to run against Wickham- expect to see enormous amounts of cash coming out from the same nonprofits referenced above to support him [Wickham]. It will be illegal, but who is going to stop it? Contrary to logic- many in this neck of the woods prefer Wickham justice to the kind the constitution offers. How else could you explain Comrade Sam Hunt getting elected representative?

Wickham has also got some dirt under his fingernails in his own personal history that directly reflects on his abusing his position with the law on a daily basis. The specific instance I reference is quite ironic given the trend of how he tends to ignore the law in family court when it comes to other people. Long time locals know more about this than I do. However since I went off on Donna Watts supporters for personal mud slinging, I by my own standards won't go into detail other than to say that the history here is a direct reflection of how he behaves on the bench (ie his rules, his form of the law- not the one from the legislature or the constitution).

So to locals and the rest of Washington, don't be afraid of Bush wire taps- be VERY afraid of what goes on in Thurston's courts and in your own county. Your apathy and your ignorance put this man on the bench. That was a pretty easy victory for those who hate our constitution.

1. As a fellow Thurston County resident, I think we can get rid of the Sam Hunt's and the Chris Wickham's. The answer is education. Most Thurston County residents who vote are clueless to what is going on. The Zero is no help as are the helpless local GOP. One of these days, the local GOP needs to pull its heads out of their behinds and start a grass root campaign of education. Have you ever talked to your PCO? I haven't and I think he lives across the street from me. I think the Thurston County GOP needs to set up a grassroots newsletter that addresses the issues and use the PCOs and volunteers to distribute the newsletter throughout the county. Moderates and some Democrats will be upset too if they really knew what was going on.
