1. Democrat 2008 hopefuls initial reaction to Iraq Study Group

"Wow, we've almost pulled it off. We've undermined the war effort, we've undermined our troops, and we've opposed the president at nearly every opportunity. We've given aid and comfort to terrorists, and with our good friends in the media we've convinced enough Americans of our imminent defeat in Iraq that we can now say, 'I told you so' and claim we were doomed to defeat from the start."

Isn't American politics wonderful? Imagine a political party and a nation's media siding with terrorists to create the perception that if they kill enough of us, we'll tuck our tail between our legs and abandon a nation that we liberated from a tyrant. And then imagine the American people rewarding that party by returning them to power.

Just how gullible have people become?

2. Eisenhower warned of the dangers of the "military/industrial complex. I think evidence shows that we have a lot more to fear from the Democrat/media complex.

3. It looks like most of the GOP hopefuls don't want to be President.
What the latest poll on Bush's handling of the war? That's right 26% favorable and going down.

I guess our country needs to invade North Korea. Their leader is a tyrant and he has WMD's.
