New Seattle Slogan

It is official, Seattle has a new advertising slogan. Seattle's New Slogan

The winning slogan Metronatural... This new non-word cost the city of Seattle $200,000 and it took them a year. I think that we could have done it here on Sound Politics Public Blogs for about ... free ... and we wouldn't have come up with a lame, idiotic, non-idea. This is why people hate letting politicians have access to tax money. They have a need to spend it, before their term is up, and besides it didn't take them anything to earn it.

Metronatural, think Metrosexual -- that is so 2004
Metronatural, alas not natural
Metronatural, the elitist mentality that has passed Critical Areas Ordinances in King County
Metronatual, the place to look at nature, but not be part of it

This ranks up there with the odor of the SayWA, campaign and will probably be as successful and popular.

What are we trying to promote???

2. I say the new slogan should be Seattle: GHOST Town

Where GHOST Town stands for Gridlocked Homeless Overpriced Starbucks Thronged Town.
