Check this article out in the Daily O. Just goes to show you when the Democrat's try to imitate the Republicans they fall flat.

Platforms are the for the party extremists to fight over. No one cares about them, no one reads them, and their only purpose is to make people who are passionate feel like they are making a difference. Platforms are a complete waste of time.
