Consider the source - Do you trust Clinton & Kerry supporters to tell you the truth about Bush?

"They honestly believe what they are saying. And that's the biggest problem of all. They don't see their own bias."

If you've ever dealt with anyone in the media who just refuses to acknowledge their bias, then the quote above is nothing new. The series recently reprinted in the Investor's Business Daily linked below is a great article citing tons of examples and evidence to back up the claim that the national media is biased.

Take the national media bias and bias it even further towards extremist liberals and Democrats, then I think you're getting close to the Seattle Times and Seattle PI.

It's worth reading and saving for future reference.

1. No, I can't trust them, which is why I pay vey little attention to them, either.

3. You gotta love the left. The worst day will be when they actually realize their bias and attempt to either hide it, or feign real objectivity. It's much easier when your enemy wears a bright blue uniform that you can easily recognize.

4. On the other hand, can you trust Bush's people to tell you the truth? There is so much history on both sides of fabrication (re: SC Primary involving Bush and McCain, re: Swift Boat gang, etc.).

What is important is knowing a sound bite when you hear one and knowing when someone actually knows what they are talking about. When Fox et al and others all repeat the line of the day, you need to realize it is PR and is no different than commericials on TV, an informercial, or an ad in a magazine or newspaper. They are trying to get you to believe something (i.e., sell you something). Your job is to find as many different viewpoints on the issue to discern what the real truth is. Neither side is going to give you the straight facts. Get real.

5. Well they're right about one thing you can't trust media because it is driven by ratings so it is driven by what will bring them the most bucks. There is very little investigating reporting anymore, but you can find it. I think people have realized at least they do not want more of the same stuff we are getting now. Voters are mad that they have been lied to from very direction. The democrats will have a chance to make things right but I think the votes aren't going to take it anymore and will be watching the democrats closely.

I can't believe that there is even one person out there that would vote for republicans this time around. They're blaming the media for talking about what they have done???? God give me a break. If you ask me Republicans have been so pro Bush for so long but they can't even ignore any longer what he's been doing.

I will be so glad when this election is over. If it is fixed and Republicans win again this country is a goner. I have never been more scared in my life. My brother and I are looking at investing in land in Canada. He wants to retire there. I want to get out before my son is called to war.

6. Kathleen, you could probably get some folks here at this blog to help pay your expenses out of the country. Canada beckons! Run, don't walk, to the border! Hurry!
