Maria Cantwell was prominently covered in today's news reports about her endorsement by the Washington Association of Fire Chiefs. She also claimed that she has the Washington Council of Police and Sheriffs support.
My question did she sleep with them to get this endorsement? Did her friend Ron get any money lobbying these groups to endorse her?
We need someone who is more ethical in the Senate than Maria Cantwell.
It is typical for a democrat to get support of the unions and others who take money from workers and then claim that they represent their interests. We need an honest, ethical, moral senator from Washington and that leaves Cantwell on the sidelines.

Posted by: Ben Diamond on October 14, 2006 10:02 PMMike! is not an ethical saint, and I am sure he has made past decisions in his life he regrets. He told us some and for that I respect, as well as everyone should.
I have no problem with Cantwell not telling us that she has slept around. I don't think I would want to tell public something like that. She did not commit a crime as far as I know and I do not believe this lobbying scandal some of us hope for is going to come to fruition. And an intelligent person would have to assume she has had sex before. Or maybe she is saving herself for the right man???
Let's leave the unethical bullshit you bring to the political spectrum on the sideline.
I really don't think the people of Washington state should go to the ballot box thinking of who slept with who and when....or who drank too much 13 years ago at a party....I could care less. The fact is that we have two very hard working and well-qualified candidates running for the Senate...Although I believe Cantwell is very wrong on issues such as National Security, Immigration, Health Care, Social Securtiy...etc.
I'm voting for Mike because I believe he is going to work on getting the stuff done that is important Washingtonians.
Mike wants to win this campaign with his better Ideas, not because he might be able to throw mud farther.
