Earth's orbit linked to extinctions.
Spanish rodents lived and died by changes in our orbit.

Mayor if you'd just stop hopping up and down the earth may hold still.
Just another item in the "climate change is outside mans' control" line of reasoning.
The Earth is well known to fluctuate in a number of defined ways: its axis wobbles about; its tilt with respect to the Sun changes; and the degree to which its orbit isn't circular varies too. These astronomical forces, known collectively as Milankovitch oscillations, can affect the climate on Earth by altering the amount of sunlight received by different regions of the globe.
Seriously, the amount Mayor Nickels' program in Seattle to reduce warming is overwhelmed on orders of magnitude by the Earth's own rotational variations.
Just a few of the Solar, Orbital, Geological variations that affect climate, none of which Mayor Nickels can effect no matter how many times he clicks his heels together.
Sunspot 11 year cycle
Solar Variations
Solar 1100 year cycle
Milankovitch 21,000 year cycle
Orbital influences
The Maunder Minimum
The Pacific Decadal Oscillation
El Nino Southern Oscillation
North Atlantic Oscillation
Volcanic cycles
SouthernRoots, I am much more worried about the Mayor's and the Council's emissions. It usually costs me me taxes.

The Al Gore Scare Global warming thesis is utter Barbara Streisand.
However my point is climate is cyclical, driven by multiple cycles of varying periods.
We barely understand these cycles. When the maximum of several cycles coincide climate warms.
How can we possible know if a increase of CO2 315ppm to 358ppm in 50 years, has comparable impact of increasing solar output and orbital variations. The CO2 question is complicated by the biofeedback loop. More CO2 means more algae in the ocean fixing the CO2.
To say human are the cause is simplistic as hell and irresponsible.
I say trails for those pushing junk science.
