I got a call from the Darcy Burner for Congress call center (425-454-0519) again. I think that the last one was about a month ago. Started with the normal pleasantries. The volunteer asked if I knew who Darcy Burner was, and who I was supporting in the upcoming election. Tonight I attended one of the public meetings being held by the WEA, PTA and League of Education Voters (http://www.taketheleadwashington.org/) to talk about Gregoire's education review. As one would expect, the focus of the meeting was class size, increased funding, and a redefinition of basic education that the state is constitutionally required to provide.
