Vote In Person In Snohomish County

The Snohomish County Council voted early this year to move to all-mail voting, and many of us are quite angry about the change, for many reasons. But there's still one voting machine in the county, and any registered voter can use it, unless they've voted already. So, we'll be having a protest of sorts: everyone who wants to should show up on Primary Election Day (preferably, at noon or 7 p.m.; be prepared to wait in line!) at the County Auditor's office to use that one voting machine. Or if you can't, show up any day after September 8 during normal office hours. See the article and details for more information.

1. Pudge, thanks for the info. I probably won't wait until the 19th, but it certainly looks interesting enough to try.

2. You have my enthusiastic support. Forced mail voting takes away our constitutionally prescribed secret ballot.

3. I voted in person at the Auditors office today. I work on Tuesdays or else I would have joined you. They actually have 4 machines set up and it was relatively painless. I will be doing this from now on.

4. Interesting ... they told me they would have only one, but glad they have more.
