Poor Darcy...even the DCCC can't give any specifics as to what she's about. All they can do is talk about Reichert (as seen over and over again in comments to SP posts by Burner supporters).

I will, however, do as the spam directs, and send George Bush this message (which I would like to share with Darcy and her DCCC homies):

The cogent and persuasive arguments in the afore-mentioned spam have convinced me. I'm sending a contribution to the Reichert campaign, and giving Dave my vote.

Also, I love the part in the next-to-last paragraph about "opting out". Since I never "opted-in" to receive this garbage, I'm sure that any attempt to unsubscribe would only result in a flood of similar-themed crapola.

1. Reichert even skipped a critical vote on setting a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq in order to have a campaign fundraiser with George Bush.

I am sure if Reichert had been there he would have voted in favor of HR 861 that not only the House would NOT set a timetable but this as well:

Declares that the United States will prevail in the Global War on Terror.

and also that it
"Honors all Americans who have taken an active part in the Global War on Terror"

By the way both Brain Baird(D)3rd CD and of course "Baghdad" Jim McDermott (D) 7th CD voted against this bill.

2. Another prime example of a liber who stands for nothing but "Hate Bush"

That isn't going to win them an election if they don't get some dang idea of what they stand for.

And Please, if I hear another liberal lying about being "busy bringing tax relief to the citizens of this state" Oh Please

We heard it from Gregoire .........

We are hearing if from Cantwell..........

3. It's a tired old political strategy. If you've got nothing at all redeeming, just slam your opponent. At this point, the name Darcy Burner is a libility to Democrats. Best not to even mention her name. Just villify the Republican and hope that voters just look for the "D" in the ballot booth.

4. Frankly, I voted the democrat ticket for the primary---mainly so I could vote for Hong Tran and give Cantwell some competition. I'll vote for Mike in Nov.
But since I voted democrat, and Burner was the only candidate for the dem primary, I wrote my dog's name into the space for write-in candidate for 8th district democrat congressional primary!

5. You had better watch out with that write-in "ME" with the unreconstructed group over at KCE. They will kick out your ballot and devine that since you voted on a Democratic ticket you "intended" to vote Burner even though you wrote in FIDO.

6. I don't know about your dog, but I think man's best friend deserves better than a write in on a democratic ticket.

Arf Arf.......

7. well gee, GS, my dog could make it honorable to be a democrat again. :-)

9. A recap, part 1 With Digital ID World in the books as a success, I always like to take a look back at "what I learned." As an organizer of the conference, Digital ID World is always a whirlwind experience for me, but I find that as I look back
