Senator Joe Lieberman's 2006 Web Site

Just a few of my thoughts on the Joe Lieberman campaign. I don't necessarily agree with most of Joe's liberal voting tendencies, but he has been a stanch allied defender with George Bush against the terrorism that surrounds our country.

I think he has shown a lot of courage to step into the Independent arena and keep his campaign alive. And as of today on Realclearpolitics.com, Joe holds a 5.3% advantage in the polls. Enough of an advantage that Hillary has loaned Ted Lamont's campaign one of her best campaign sharks.

His winning would be a grand embarrassment to the Democratic party who will go out of their way to quietly finance the defeat of Joe at any cost. They don't want this embarrassment on election night. They want Ted Lamont in and Joe Lieberman out. No other outcome would be a win for them in Conneticut.

It would be easy for people in this state and state's other than Conneticut to feel they have no dog in this fight. I disagree.

I think we all have a dog in Joe's fight, because his is a unique battle in this election. The democrats in this state and others are silently raising money for Ted Lamont in Conneticut. We need to do the same for Joe.

If you feel the urge to donate to Joe's campaign fund as I did, you can go to Joe lieberman's Website.

I think he deserves that seat and I hate to see money or the imbalance of it in his race lead to his defeat.
