Al-Reuters Newsie Wounded by IDF

Al-Reuters, the official spokesman of Jihad, informs us that one of their own has been wounded in an airstrike by Israeli Air Force in Gaza.

Dang.

Well, I suppose it's the price one pays for pimping mongrel thugs who have no right to Israeli real estate and have no sense of gratitude at all for what they have managed to extort from Israel already.

But then, that's the thing with radical Moslems: they don't know when to shut up and be grateful for what they have. Of course, if I was stuck in the 14th century and had not contributed a damn thing to world history other than slitting throats and flying crowded airplanes into skyscrapers, I guess I'd be a little jealous too.

As for the Al-Reuters guy, best wishes for a speedy recovery. And stay the hell out of Gaza, if you know what's good for you.

1. How many Hamas gunmen were in his armored car with him?

2. Seein that this is Al-Reuters, how long will it be until this is debunked and we find out that what really happened is that Hamas was tring to plant a landmine and it went off?

3. Hey JCM, Little Green Footballs has pictures of the Al-Reuters vehicle supposedly hit by a missle. Looks like it may be a fake again. here is a link:

check out post 16 for the pictures. The thing I found intresting is the relatively small hole in the roof and then the hood appears to have been knocked off kilter. When it comes to the roof hole, I have seen bigger holes put into humvees (same kind of armor by the looks of it) with RPG's so I fing this hard to believe that it was a missle. As for the hood, it looks more like they may have hit something. You will also notice that the windows look fairly intact. They are armored, but a missle is ment to penetrate the armor then explode and if that had been the case the armor windows should have been blown out(again I saw that in Iraq with an RPG strike on a humvee).

4. TrueSoldier,

Yeah saw that at LGF. Unless the IAF is using inert missiles with really small motors, looks more like a a kid tossed a cement block of a 5 story building onto the vehicle. That would give the color and the angular hole.

5. Does anyone else find it odd that a picture of the interior of the vehicle is conspicuously absent? Of course, the interior of the vehicle would tell the real story...

Another point: why is it that these dudes have the amazing good luck to be hit by dummy missiles? No evidence of an explosion. The margins of the entry are not scorched, but rather dirty-looking, like mud was all over the thing.

6. Here's another point. One of the two men claimed this:
Shana saw only a sheet of flame and the doors of the vehicle fly open.
yet it doesn't appear to me that the doors were forced open in any way shape or form and like ERNurse points out the lack of any kind of fire damage to support there clame of a "sheet of flame:.

7. TrueSoldier hits it out of the park. Touch 'em all and tip your hat to the fans on your way to the dugout.

But then, what else would we expect from Al-Reuters and the Dissociated Press?

You remember the Iraqi PR guy, Baghdad Bob? The guy who swore on-camera that no US tanks were anywhere near Baghdad while an American M-1 rolled past behind him?

Well, he's the Editor-in-Chief at Al-Reuters now.

8. Just saw this. Here are where the two supposedly injured journalists are from:

one from Reuters and one from Iranian World TV network.

Gee what a surprise.

9. I am shocked- shocked- to see an Iranian and a Reuters newsie in the same car. Who would have thought that such a scandalous thing could occur? (/sarcasm)
